    Re: Red Dead Redemption

My students pitched in and purchased this as a going away present for me. I must say that I am very thankful that I had such a wonderful 4th period. In the past week and a half, I have barely put this game down. I am now in Mexico and decided to go exploring. I was lost in the desert when out of nowhere I stumbled oversomething. Looked down and found two tied up women, dead. No idea what happened to them but I began to wonder what could have happened to them.

Yes...he's still there when it reloads.

I believe the 3rd one kicks in for any dollar amount over $25. Can make a killing once you get that pattern down.
It is. I wrote down the pattern on a piece of paper and just look at that when I'm doing it as watching the screen messes me up...lol. Easiest hundred bucks you can make in the game.

On a side note, has anyone else looked up and realized they played horseshoes for a couple hours straight? I'm not too shabby in real life, but I'm all over the place in the game and find myself playing over and over trying to get it down.

I've barely scratched the surface of RDR (started late) but this is already one of the best games I've played, hands down.

I finally got a little better at horseshoes after my first few games were hideous. The first few were to the point that I quit and then murdered the person I was playing because I was annoyed.

I'm rich in this game, so I bought it, bought all properties I see, and all new guns I can find. If you play the game like I do (just finished mexico and have already logged 28 hours) money is not an issue.

Wolf skins anyone? I'm walking around with 2K almost all the time. I've done all the bounties too, now I just see faceless random's - a couple of the real ones got me like 400 bones a pop

I finally got better when I didnt pull back on the stick, instead I just let the guy start the motion and then push forward.

I'm walking around with $6k right now. Still working on Mexico. I've done a lot of the side missions. The funny thing is, I've made a lot of money playing poker...and I've always SUCKED at poker in real life. I've actually learned quite a bit from playing in RDR. I think I'd do better in real life now. Any of you suckers want to play?

I was just riding my horse, minding my own business and I heard a snake. Never saw one in the game before. I was going to try and lasso it (lol I just wanted to see what would happen) and out of no where and ****in huge boar spears me and I fall down the hill. The boar won't leave me alone and keeps bull rushing me until I die. I was trying to get up but it kept hitting me as soon as I got on my feet.

I found mine near manzanita post, in a clearing near the train tracks.

I thought I saw one being sold in the General Store in Macfarlane's Ranch? For $750.

Also, is the Kentucky Saddler the white horse?

How the hell do you guys know which horse it is you're riding, without looking at the name?

mattlanta, the Kentucky Saddler is the semi-golden horse with whitish hair.

In order to buy a horse you have to catch it in the wild first.

I've read that Tall Trees is a good place to find it if you can get it before a bear kills it. Which is also good, because I need to kill 3 bears each with one shot.
