I picked it up today from BB.......can't resist anything with zombies. LOL! I bought the regular edition since I found all the items in the Zombrex version fluff except for the dynamic theme which maybe they will put up on the store to purchase.

Which is what I may do at lunch lol...I may use the "well, it's a game I'll keep cause it has zombies" rationalization...

Even though the first game had problems, I still enjoyed it. Since this one fixes most of those problems + a better save system it's worth checking out.

Yeah, I ended up picking it up...enjoyed the first one too much even with the issues, and sounds like this is better.

Fun game. Loading times suck, but oh well. First game in I don't know how long where I really notice the loading times.

Load times do suck but putting a bucket with a drill attached to it on a zombies head more than makes up for it.

I know! I am still somewhat early so haven't done a ton of combo weapons yet, but the spiked bat is solid.

I feel really rushed, and have to remember that I can't save everyone and do every escort save at once. It's awesome pacing though, really keeps you moving and on edge, how it should be. While the time limits can seem frustrating it'd be dumb if this was just Grand Theft Mall - Zombies.

It's basically just more Dead Rising, which I can't complain about.

Actually a GTA: Zombies game would be awesome.

I was following CliffyB's twitter last night while he was playing this game. He was having a blast with it.

                            Worst idea ever.

Anyway, I like the game, but I do wish they had created a separate sandbox/free/open mode (whatever you want to call it). Sometimes the story is just in the way when all you want to do is rampage.

You just have to know how to play the game ahead of time. I plan on just rampaging through the early parts of the game 2-3 times to level up and collect some stuff before I restart "for real".

I know you can do that, it's just annoying having messages constantly popping up along with a myriad of other issues that are really just there for game reasons. Give an open mode without the messages, without the inventory limits, give the option to save anywhere at any time, etc. There are times where it'd be nice to just go into a mess of zombies, kill a bunch, then save without travel time and such.
