SP is the most fun I've had in a FPS since...I dunno.

I don't mean to hype up the game, but it's just a different kind of FPS...

...as stated above the different options going about things, numerous routes, etc, etc, etc...make this game a ton of fun to play.

The thing is, I'm taking my sweet *** time playing this game, because I can't help but look around at the atmospheres and think..."what am I gonna do next?"

**And yes, HANS ZIMMER is a musical GENIUS for all of his previous work:

*The Lion King, Gladiator, The Dark Knight, The Da Vince Code, Black Hawk Down, & Pirates of the Caribbean....just to name a few of the music he has done.

*He also collaborated in the musical score for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

- yet he has done an unbelievable job "scoring" his 2nd video game.

I haven't had a chance to crack open the plastic on this, but will tonight. I will say that if this is as good as the first Crysis, its pure FPS bliss. For those that never played the first Crysis, if you can get your hands on it and have a decent system to run it I recommend it.

Got this on Tuesday but have been waiting to play it until I beat Homefront's campaign. Listening to you guys though, I might just say screw Homefront and jump in to this.

I love the replay value of Crysis and Crysis Warhead. You can tackle missions in 100 different ways. This game is a little more confined but it's still awesome. I hope the sucess of this game paves the way for Crysis 1 and Warhead to be released for consoles in 3D.

I'm enjoying the singleplayer campaign. Its more open than most FPS giving you lots choices on how to clear an area or even get through without shooting. It reminds me a little of the first Far Cry game (I never played the first Crysis).
Graphics are excellent.
Multiplayer is a little fast for me. Maps are big and well designed. Unfortunately I can only play DM or TDM until I level up. I'd much rather be playing the objective game types. When do those unlock?

"Crash Site" is becoming my favorite game mode.

It is basically, like "King of the Hill."

Yep. For me I finally am playing a FPS, after a long time, that didn't give me the "Been there done that feeling" almost right away.
It simply has a different feel to it. Can't wait to get home and fire it up.

I gotta stay out of this thread. If I can find a good deal with some type of incentive I am gonna pick this up. Getting ready to get off work and all I've been thinking about is this game and should I jump.

It's amazing from what I've played so far and I only play SP and if you can't tell from other topics I'm rarely impressed by FPS'.

-this by far is my favorite SP mission in this game...I'm havin' a blast strategizing ways in takin' out the enemies.

I was one of those "naysayers" to stay away from more FPS's, because I thought they were all the same these days...I've gotta say, this one's a hook, line, & sinker for me.

This thread has opened my eyes and I'm glad it did....now, back to the game!!

Take the jump, FlightWhite. I was about to give up on FPS altogether, and this one has brought me back. I really believe it is THAT good.

It doesn't hurt that it looks incredible, too, which is just an added bonus to a stellar game. Normally graphics don't matter too much to me as long as gameplay is good, but it really is helping out here.
