Yep. For me I finally am playing a FPS, after a long time, that didn't give me the "Been there done that feeling" almost right away.
It simply has a different feel to it. Can't wait to get home and fire it up.

"Crash Site" is becoming my favorite game mode.

It is basically, like "King of the Hill."

Assault is my favorite. Reminds me of Search and Destroy.

I don't play offline, I hate Halo, love COD (even though it's geting a bit old of course).

I am the EXACT same way - never was a fan of Halo but love COD.

I'm tell you, even if you are "on-the-fence" that warrants a purchase of this game, IMO. It's just different...the demo was a HORRIBLE representation of the retail version (and the developers attested to that earlier).

It's a "futuristic" game (so it's not COD in that sense) ... but it's not all lasers, aliens, etc...it's with REAL guns with a 'body suit' that can do many different things (invincibility, high armour, etc.) It's just cool. It's just different...

**Even after the new map packs were released 2 weeks ago, COD still felt like the same game and I just haven't played as much...THIS game has me revived for FPS's again!!

I have been a Crysis fan for a while and I even purchased a new CPU to play the first one. When I played the Crysis 2 demo I was so disappointed I almost skipped this release.

If you like Crysis 1 and Warhead and you didn't like the demo then there still is a lot of hope you will like Crysis 2.

Incase anyone missed it...Best buy and Target are giving out a $10 gift cards with the game. Best Buy is also giving $20 off Dead Space, Dragon Age 2 and few others with Crysis 2 purchase.

Yeah it's a neat twist. You have one life and alternate between uploading data and defending the data centers. If you're defending, you play as Marines, with no nanosuit abilities, but your weaponry is top notch. If you're attacking, you have a Nanosuit, but you weaponry is sub-par.

I caved in and bought this but it didn't really cost me anything so to speak. Blockbuster here in Toronto are giving $4 trade in value (they usually give you about $1 for a DVD) for any DVD you own. They're giving more for a DVD than Gamestop gives for any game over a year old. I really only watch BR's now so I pretty much cleaned out most of my DVD collection and ended up getting almost $200 in store credit so I picked up Crysis 2 (and they only had 1 copy left), a used copy of Dead Space 2 and will grab Shift 2 next week.

The only problem is once I start playing C2 then the other games probably won't even get opened even though I'm looking forward to TW 12 and Shift 2.

I just picked this up. As much as I love Homefront, I just could not justify the 65 I payed and only be able to play online sometimes. Got the full credit from HF, paid off Crysis 2. Gonna repurchase Homefront off Craiglist for 20-30 bucks. Lol

Got this game yesterday along with KZ3. I was kind of "on the fence" about purchasing this game, while I was totally sold on KZ3. So far I haven't taken crysis out of ps3 to even try Killzone.

The game is really fun, challenging, and the graphics are breathtaking on my ps3. I like the fact you can play as a tank with the armor upgrade or cloak yourself and pick off enemies one by one working your way around the perimeter.

Multiplayer is fun, started off horrible but in my last two games I was around a one to one k/d ratio.

But overall, this game is amazing, and I might never open KZ3, which is a shame considering that's the game I was originally sold on lol.

Can anybody speak on how the story mode is so far? Crysis 1 was just so e p i c on pc, im curious to see how this one compares before i pick it up.
