This doesn't just apply to this game, it's sitting here but I figured I'd finish up ME2 first.

It's always bothered me that you can just walk around, pick up a piece of plate armor and expect it to somehow fit. It's like taking a tailored suit from some random person and expecting it to fit.

      Re: Two Worlds II Impressions

I just finished Chapter 4... Now the world is all good.

Time to do some side missions. I went through the main story just because it kept me pretty engrossed. Excellent game, especially coming from a non AAA studio. It's not from Bethesda, Square, etc, but it delivered a really good experience.

Just one HUGE word of advice. Try to level up to well above a level 30 before going on the final Chapter. I beat it, but I think it took 5-10 yrs off of my life. I can definitely see how developing your character is HUGE in how the game plays out.

Now I'm just going through and exploring the lands, going to work some guilds, do the side missions, and have a good time with the game.

Glad you're enjoying it Bullitt. I have the PC version, and have literally no sound issues or framerate problems, and I'm not playing on a powerhouse PC. Just my Dell XPS 15 laptop.

I have some pretty stellar equipment. Also, those codes that you can get from Gamestop, the equipment pretty much sucks. I don't know who they thought they're fooling telling you it's unstoppable. Especially when you get to the final Chapter.

Overall, I'd say the main mission I enjoyed a LOT more than Oblivion. Granted, it's 6 years newer than Oblivion, but still yet. A great title, a whole lot of fun. It has quite a few downfalls... I've experienced a few camera issues, especially in tight quarters, but I don't know a game really that doesn't struggle in that aspect.

Metallurgy and Weapon forging is awesome, and I don't know if I'll be able to play a game without that aspect now. Looking forward to Two Worlds III. Hopefully this one will pick up some steam, giving some more financial freedom to the studio.

Enjoy guys, get PLENTY of health potions, I'd also make some resurrection potions and possibly a few resist certain element potions

As far as this goes, you learn metallurgy and weapon forging. So that's where I'd love to see this implemented. After a certain level, you can adapt the armor to fit you. And if nothing else, take it, melt it down and forge it into new pieces of armor. That's all I want to see.

Finally made a big breakthrough last night for the first mission getting the the first rune stone. Those Skeletons kept killing me, till I get the first one. Now, the game is really starting to open up.

              Re: Two Worlds II Impressions

It's DEFINITELY worth it for $40.

I'm having a great time. I'm now the Arena Grand Champion. I had no clue there was an Arena in the first place. Luckily, my guy in Knight Armor disposed of everyone fairly easily, as I have some really nice weaponry now. There are still some creatures that give me some problems, but overall, I'm one BMF.

The side quests are more interesting and I'm having a great time doing them. I can't stress this enough, if you give this game a fair chance, then I'll almost guarantee you'll like it.

I'm having some crashing issues later on in the game, but I think I just need to clear out some of my saves. I've saved it OFTEN.

Oh... and good luck to anyone in Chapter 4...

In reference to the final boss battle:

Really good in depth guide about crafting weaponry, how to understand the weapons and what they're capable of, etc.

At first I hated the combat when I was under level 8, now I love it. This will be a nominee for my sleeper hit of the year.

Yep the more you "learn" in the game the better it gets... Love it!

I just bought the house in Hatmandor... Some GOOD stuff in the Master Locked containers. You MAY even be able to sell the stuff for around the 50,000 aras that it costs to purchase the home.

I did not know that you could buy property in this game!! Does it have places to store extra stuff and all that.

Another question from a newbie, what about sleeping? Is it necessarry or can you even do it?

Can't sleep that I know of. And thus far, I've bought both houses that I could find available. One for 50,000 auras, and one for 30,000. You have a LOT of storage space in the Hatmandor mansion, but not "as much" at the other place.

But yeah, you can buy the homes, just have to find their "sellers". Some houses, you actually get to see "how" they came onto the market

I'm having a blast still with this. A LOT of the map still isn't uncovered yet, and I'm finding new stuff to do all of the time.
