Unfortunately headed to Atlanta tonite with the family to see some friends. Would love to get some horde in maybe Sunday evening.

As stupid as this sounds but i am on act 3 of the final chapter and part of me doesn't want to finish it as i could keep going the game is that awesome.

I had a hard time putting the controller down. For me to finish a 10-12 hour game in a matter of 2.5 days says that this was that damn good. At the moment, Gears 3 tops both Resistance 3 and Infamous 2 as my GOTY until Uncharted 3 comes out to see how that turns out.

The ending was well done if you ask me, yet there were still many questions left unanswered. Maybe the books will help answer some of these, or else we could see a new prequel trilogy. I think a prequel trilogy would be good in covering the Pendulum Wars with the events all the way up to E-day. There is a lot that can still be covered during this time frame and tie in all the loose ends.

If more games are to be made, I do not think that they can continue from here. The locust/lambents are all gone.....so this is where I see prequels.

I still believe the Queen is Marcus's mother, even though they never covered that. Adam Fenix in Act 5 tells Marcus he has something to tell him about the Queen, but Marcus tells him that he can tell him later after they defeat the Locust/Lambents. Marcus's mother went missing when he was in his early teens, it was underground where she went missing. I know one of the books had said her remains may have been found......but I think there is more to that. She is also part human, part locust and I believe that she had turned into a test experiment as there were a few humans that were being tested on that partially got infected. I was kind of expecting at the end that she would tell him that she's his mother before he stabbed her with Dom's knife.

Dom's death was so well done and when I saw him kneeling in Act 3 talking to Maria's spirit, I knew his end was right around the corner. It choked me up a bit and he sacrificed himself to make sure the team made it out alive. Many have debated his actions and he killed himself for nothing, but if he never set off that explosion, the rest of Delta Squad would have died since they were overwhelmed.

Did Griffin piss me off, I was hoping that Marcus would have taken him out.

Haven't got online with Gears 3 yet. I'd like to get a private versus game going to learn the maps a bit. Will play some probably tonight. Definitely Saturday and Sunday evenings.

i think the lancer needs to be toned down a tad. i mean come on u never have to reload nor is there recoil at all and u get downed no matter wat. and when all 5 players on the other team are spawn killing with lancers its not fair no matter how good you are

I played a fair amount of the original Gears of Wars, and only ran through the SP of Gears of War 2. E p i c thought this enough justification to lock me out of the casual playlist, sending me to countless deaths at the hands of my enemies.

Boy, they made this campaign a whole lot easier than the other two.

I struggled to get through the first two on Normal, and Hardcore has been a breeze through 3 and a half acts in this one. Not complaining though.

On another note, fantastic campaign so far. Like others have said, the end of the third act was really well done.

I had 23 deaths total the first time through on hardcore. On insane, I had more than that on the first act alone.... gunkers

Tell me about it mate i am on the brink of throwing my tv out the window.

Wouldn't be so bad but there is no place to take cover and your teammates just dont seem to come near you when your down.

Love the game and series but this ending is pissing me of no end
