How do you find out what your WIFI security is?
    Just wondering.

Need to go into your Router settings page, and usually there's a Security tab with security settings.

Will definitely check this out, thanks. I'm sure they can be found for cheaper on eBay or something.

Already almost finished getting my 8th badge in Heartgold(I've played 30 hours, granted i've left it on sitting for awhile), luckily still have Kanto.

I'm assuming Platinum/BW are about 30-40 hours gameplay as well? Games seemed much longer as a kid lol

Anyone gonna get Pokemon Conquest? Seems like an interesting concept, but something to wait on for reviews/videos

Yup Pokemon Platinum and B&W are about 30 hours, I thought about pokemon conquest but I don't like that fact that all pokemon are given 1 move, that turned me away from it.

I just found my HeartGold when I was cleaning my room...its safe to assume that I was extremely happy when that happened! Which means its time to start playing again (obviously.)

I'm thinking I want to do a playthrough where I can only catch one type of Pokemon. My first thought is water, but I'm open to suggestions if any of you have some haha.

Yeah, Black's about 30-40 hours, but somehow I've spent over 150 hours on it..

If you only want to use 1 type, I think water would work.

That's what I was thinking...there's so many options on teams to build with water types and its possible to beat every gym with a Pokemon that has water as one of it's types

If you want suggestions, Feraligator, Poliwrath, Lapras, Gyarados, Golduck and Vaporeon.
Lapras would help with Ice Beam against Lance.

Thanks for the suggestions. I agree with most of those, I don't like Psyduck/Golduck. I'll probably just use Slowbro/Slowking for my psychic needs.

Completely forgot about Slowbro/Slowking to be honest.
I said Golduck just because a psychic/water type would be helpful against Bruno/Koga in the Elite Four.
You also don't need to trade to get Golduck, but you do for Slowking.

I just started a playthrough of Emerald just the other day. Decided to go with Torchic. Slightly different for me as I usually use Water Types, but I like Torchic's evolved forms the most out of these starters.

Saw a comment earlier in the thread about not liking the starters as much after the first 2 generations, and I'd have to agree. Generation II was probably my favorite set of pokemon they made.

I couldn't agree more about the later gens. Personally, I'm really partial to and favor Gen 1 Pokemon. All 3 starters were awesome and the Pokemon aren't just silly copies of Gen 1 or 2 Pokemon (like Gens 3-5 are.)

But having said that, Gen 2 was the game I got the deepest into in terms of playing and breeding as a kid so I tend to know that Gen extremely well.

Oh btw, when I turned on my HeartGold, I found that I already had started a Water Playthrough (forgot about starting it when I was driving to Quidditch World Cup in November lol.) So I decided to keep that going, considering I was at the Ghost Gym and how much further there is to go in the game.

                                Current party:
                                Level 32 Totodile
                                Level 35 Slowpoke
                                Level 33 Wooper

I think I'm gonna hold off on evolving Totodile until it gets Hydro Pump (which I believe is in the 50s, maybe 56?) But other than that, I gotta train up Slowpoke and Wooper for the Fighting and Steel gyms which are up next.
