My fiance lost my DSi and Acekard. I'm upset. I would play the **** out of some Pokemon white/black though. I had every single Pokemon able to be obtained in that game, and was working on breeding dream world ones for the stats I wanted.
One of the best RPG series ever. Never really got into the show, dabbled in the card game when I was in grade school. That's as far as it went though.

It's even more crazy that on amazon it seems that emerald is more expensive than diamond/pearlI support that statement. If you can find a DS Lite, it's the perfect system to have. Allows you to play FireRed/LeafGreen, Ruby/Sapphire, Diamond/Pearl, HeartGold/SoulSilver, and Black/White, so you can play every version of the game so far (Red/Blue and Gold/Silver in updated and improved versions).
Still kinda pricey, though. I think GameStop sells them for 79.99. I paid that when I bought mine, but I'm also insane.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Re: The Pokemon Thread
I stay true to Pokemon Red. For some reason, I have the cartridge sitting right here on my desk for years now, yet I somehow lost my gameboy years ago. I've always wondered... how the hell did I lose my gameboy color, but not the cartridge when Pokemon Red was the only game I had??Comment

Re: The Pokemon Thread
I need to get a DS again, I used to own guys during battles on Pokemon Pearl
I played a lot of "shoddy battle" where you make your team and battle other people, I got my ranking up to like #13th or so before

It's a fun game though, lots of strategy is involved

Re: The Pokemon Thread
Yeah they do.
Don't know about the older ones now (pearl, diamond, platinum) but all of the news ones should have people online playing them.
I get $100 in a couple weeks when I graduate from grandparents, so I'm thinking about getting ds with HG/WhiteCincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

You still have Butterfree? I would always put him in the PC once I got past Mt. Moon, and would never see him again.Comment

I'm not sure how well I'll fair in the Viridian City Gym, but I'm going to give it a go, tomorrow. When I played these games as a kid, I always had one dominant Pokemon (usually the starter) and then a bunch of okay. With the ability to use the vs finder, I'm going for a more balanced lineup...
I feel like such a nerd, when I talk about this game.Comment
