 Re: The Pokemon Thread

So... HeartGold and Soulsilver are the "equivalent" to Gold and Silver on the GB Color, like FireRed is the equivalent of Red on the GB color ? ?Comment

Yes. In HeartGold and SoulSilver you can have your pokemon walk behind you, just putting that out there lolComment

That's what I ended up doing. I'll take him out again when my other Pokemon level up that high, which will be soon since my Darmanitan just leveled up to 40.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Annoying to get your beginning pokemon set, always find myself trying to level up and get my favorite ones. I always feel the need to catch everything or level everything into a useful form.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

 Re: The Pokemon Thread

I haven't played, in a few days. I'm about to bench butterfree... he's just becoming a bit stale, finally.

Confusion, Sleep Powder, and Tackle are all useful, but I'm going for something a little different with my lineup. I need a fire type, in the worst way. I was doing a bit of reading and I'm about to be taking down team rocket and Giovanni's (sp) highest rated Pokemon isn't even lvl 30 *looks at my lvl 37 Blastoise, lvl 30 Persian, Butterfree, and Wigglytuff* ..... and I'm not even in that city, yet..Comment

Growlithe is a badass. I have one in HeartGold and it beats the **** out of all comers (except water types).

Waiting for the right time to evolve him into an Arcanine. Any advice on when's right to do that?Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

I need to hunt a strategy guide for Fire Red, just for some entertaining reading. I've been using an online strat. guide to locate diff types of Pokemon, on my way.Comment

 Re: The Pokemon Thread

 Googled it for you.
I find the best method is evolving at 48 . Because not only do you get increased stats , which Arcanine has 555 base stat points. Which makes him a top tier pokemon. Compared to Growlithes 350 base stat points.

Things to be aware of: If you are going to evolve earlier him wait till about 39 ***if you only want extremespeed learned at 39) NOTE: You will lose Heat Wave and Flare Blitz.(Because Growlithe learns Heat Wave at 45 and Flare Blitz at 48)
 Otherwise wait till 48.

 Also:
On the console game. You can re-learn extremespeed anyways. So it's not really a big loss.

So overall summary: Wait till 48.

Yeah I liked using it for FR/LG when I played it a couple years back.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals
