Is the Virtual Console the same as eShop? I read on Gamespot that the games are releasing on the eShop.

Going based off the trailer they will be available in the eShop.

I've been getting into PokeMMO again lately. Wow has stuff changed since the originals and this is only based on FireRed mostly. I just learned about EV's and IV's, crazy!

Yellow is now my life. Much like it was 17 years ago.

Also they forgot to edit this out like they did after the shuttle crashed in FireRed and LeafGreen. Whoopsy.



EDIT: Also reading Missingno is still in the game.

I just grabbed Yellow as there all closely related. And had to grab at least one of them to use with PokeBank. Starting my playthrough right now. Haven't played this in so many years.

After a while, I'm jumping from the HeartGold version to play the Y for the first time. I also have the White version that I didn't play yet. I hope to finish both until the end of the year. (I have so little time to spare on my week that hurts. College, work, gym (real one, lol), girlfriend)

What's your opinion about Pokémon Sun/Moon?

So Nintendo announced today during their latest Nintendo Direct that they're re-releasing Pokemon Blue, Red and Yellow on 3DS in February. That's something I never thought they would do but I don't think I'll be buying. I'll stick to the originals that I still own:



My only fear is that Nintendo doesn't remove any sort of bugs or glitches that were found in the original game. Especially the Missingno glitch. Gosh, I abused that so much as a kid haha.

Seeing pictures of those actual cartridges, not to mention the GBC, just gave me a huge hit of nostalgia. Ahh the memories...

But I don't think Pokemon can go from 3DS Red/Blue/Yellow to X/Y or Omega/Alpha, right? I could swear I read they only transfer to Sun/Moon.

Right - it says Sun/Moon only in the arrow from Blue/Red/Yellow in the top right of the image.

Which means I'll be getting Sun/Moon lol

Correct...if you blow up the picture it says transfer to Sun/Moon only. It's hard to see.

Pokemon Go cancels thier GDC show

"We have decided to forego our GDC talk on Pokémon GO in order to focus on getting the product ready for beta test and launch," says Niantic CEO John Hanke.
