Re: Sleeping Dogs (PC/360/PS3)
There's some quirky parts of the gameplay, but I haven't run into any bad glitches or bugs yet.
Combat is easy in the game once you learn to wait and bait them for a counter and then clear out a guy or two, but these moves you unlock are powerful and awesome to watch.

I just unlocked the "Leg Breaking" move & pulling it off when fighting a bunch of thugs is awesome...There's some quirky parts of the gameplay, but I haven't run into any bad glitches or bugs yet.

Re: Sleeping Dogs (PC/360/PS3)
Real FM has to be one of the worst representations of an urban radio station in a game. Terrible.
Daptones and Ninja Tune are the two stations I pretty much stick with. Sometimes I'll stop on Sagittarius if something playing catches my ear.
Maybe I missed it, but is there an option for custom soundtrack?Comment

I played the demo and it did make me wanna buy it. Its not the longest demo that I've played but it does what it is suppose to do. It gave me a taste of a gameplay and had some cut scenes which told me about the story.Retro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

Re: Sleeping Dogs (PC/360/PS3)
I've been getting all the top-branch moves so far. I like toying with the guys unless there is a big brawler in the mix then he is the first one to go and fast. I had the grapple-escape sequences, but I'm getting better at avoiding being grappled. Target and A is a nice touch to get out a jam quick. I also discovered the wall kick last night.
Real FM is hilarious. They play some puzzling **** on there, but to me that is the soft/alt. adult, "RnB" station. HKlub is banging. I haven't listened to much Ninja Tune, but Daptones also gets a lot of play in the game especially if I'm on a cop mission.Real FM has to be one of the worst representations of an urban radio station in a game. Re: Sleeping Dogs (PC/360/PS3)
Okay, I know I'm cheating, but using a car as your main weapon to defeat a gang of thugs is just too much fun for me.
Drive in, run some over, hop out, grab crowbar, starting whuppin some arse!
Then, when my health is low, hop back in car and run over a few more.
After replenishing some health, get out, smash some guys face into the car door,...repeat.
Haha! I was doing this a lot last night and having the best time with it.
I bet if there's a sequel they'll give the AI the ability to drag you out of the car; that would be sweet, LOL!
I just love the combat in this game. Chaining moves and combo's together, while countering, it's like you're playing inside an old kung-fu flick.
I really hope this game gets some GoTY mentions. What a great game!Comment

I don't know what you mean by urban radio station as it is just underground hip-hop. It's not meant to appeal to the masses.Comment

Re: Sleeping Dogs (PC/360/PS3)
Sometimes its a little wonky for me, but left/right on the directional pad will change the station. If you hold down it will adjust the volume of the stereo. If you tap it, I think it shows you what station and song you're listening to and once that pops up hit it again to switch stations.

Yeah it's wonky for me too. I guess I've been doing it correct the whole timeSometimes its a little wonky for me, but left/right on the directional pad will change the station. Re: Sleeping Dogs (PC/360/PS3)
They do have the ability to pull you out of the car, trust me
Nothing is worse than driving into a car, and the camera acts funky trying to back up, and you're stuck with the gang surrounding the car, they pull you out and proceed to whip your ***.

Man, I'm just waiting for the horror stories to start happening concerning the camera. Most of the time I can whip it around before trouble comes up on me, but if I ever get caught trying to turn around in a tight space I'm ****ed.
