Has anyone seen any reviews for this yet? I thought they'd be out by now?

most reviews usually come out on release date(or maybe a couple days before), unless someone got an exclusive early review.

If you have played both console versions: Does the PS3 version seem sharper (or is it brighter) than the 360? It looks that way to me.

Does anyone know if anything was done with the interface/battle management system so the game is not a mess on consoles this time around? Just curious since I have not been following this one too closely.

^^ sounds about right...i wish we had the option of playing as the other races like the first one...i wanted to see my dwarf further along in the lore

Its about the same only alot cleaner looking. You still get the 6 assigned talents in the bottom right except it is smaller & you get the radial menu like in the first one except smaller too. Other than that it plays the exact same way but now you smash attack buttons.

What's funny about the "one to one" copy paste of dungeon areas is that I just noticed tonight, during my first run through 'Awakening' is that one large section of Kal'Hirol is identical to Amgarrak. Save some textural differences, the general layout is the same.

Pretty weak if you ask me. It's not going to discourage me from a purchase, but it's sad they had to repeat environments.

Yeah I really wished they kept the whole using different races as an option. What really would have set it off is if you had the ability to use your grey warden as a continuing story as to what happened after Dragon Age Origins Awakening (if you played it) or to using the default story line that the game is built on with the new character

So they said that it's shorter than the first on, but longer than Mass Effect 2. It took me 37 hours to beat ME2 on my longest playthrough, so I am expecting DA2 to be anywhere from 40 to 50 hours. I'm more than ok with that.

Same here. I love the longer games like Oblivion (or at least the IDEA of longer games), but I find I never finish them. 40 to 50 hours should be about perfect.
