Picked it up at midnight. So far no bugs like in the demo. I'm really loving it so far!

Now I need to go Obi-Wan on you: It's only bad from a certain perspective.

As far as Kingdoms goes I have been waiting for a game like Fable that took itself seriously as an RPG with a better story. This game seems to be it. Can not wait to pick it up today.

            Re: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

Got it for the pc and so far having a blast with the gameplay and story.......it's very addicting. Had an issue with not being able to click on inventory or anything but after a re-load it was fine and that's been the only issue thus far.

As far as gameplay, it's probably the best in terms of immersion and fun in the RPG genre. Demon's Souls was pretty good as well, but I like the color of Amalur better, the high fantasy is more intriguing to me. It's not an overly difficult game, playing on normal and I've died a few times in the beginning as I wasn't too familiar with the combat system. It does take strategy and a gameplan to defeat enemies, and as long as you can keep enemies in front of you or in the path of your weapon you should not have problems. Enemies are especially difficult when they surround you and can attack from multiple sides.

I like the fact your health does not regen, instead you have to rely on healing potions or finding a healer. Overall, the game is up there with skyrim. Can't compare them to each other because in my opinion they are different games. But Amalur is a great RPG, that newbies to the genre or seasoned RPGers would like.

I have mine...cant wait to crack it. The biggest knock is heard regarding he game is lack of character depth....

I keep reading that combat/customization makes up for It though....

Can't believe how some of you have really bad Gamestops. Glad mine is always on top of things and know their stuff. Have a great relationship with them and they really are top notch. They always have the latest pre releases on display etc...
Mine even gave me wise cracks due to not getting the game. Just not into it but may pick it up later in the year..

Just picked this up almost in pure support of a new and ambitious developer.

Kudos to them, i'm hoping the game is as good as their ambitions are.

Haven't played mine yet. Probably won't get into it until tomorrow unfortunately because of my Anatomy exam in the morning.

I am looking forward to tomorrow afternoon though.

In love. The loot makes this game very addicting. I got a pair of rare faeblades called the sharkfins. Their description is a proverb. Bad *** game.
