I just watched the future of gaming.

It was so funny when the first guy in the simulator was getting hit.

No one told him that every single AI in the Single Player will aim for him. 110% chance of getting just pelted with the ridiculous magnet aiming by the bots

I've never had more fun playing a FPS. I hope I am able to do something like what you see in that video some day. I will keep practicing. Probably need to move off of the support class to really start shining on streaks like this.

I assume these are PC players. That probably make a big difference. I was always way better with the mouse and keyboard than I ever was with a controller.

TDM is a nice break from conquest and rush. Although the random spawn points are terrible. You constantly spawn right in front of an enemy. Still a lot of fun though.

I was looking for a PS3 OS squad/platoon but couldnt find one besides a few that seem to be from brazilian users ... and maybe none from OS actually ... lol.

Would appreciate to be a part of it, if it exist ... also to have some tips and advices and even mentoring, from any of you guys. For whatever reason, I am not as good as I was at the end of the demo cycle, maybe worse than at the begining of it ... in fact, I am plain and simple: BAD.

My bullets seem not to cause enough damage to the enemies as oftenly they receive various shots and yet live and kill me. Also, it seems more difficult to level up and upgrade.

Finally, it seems that the vast majority of players are COD type, not talking at all with the mics ... even tho english is not my native language and that I have to deal with some high level of noice as I hear the voices through the tv, is highly dissapointing the lack of comunication. So far, only had a very few games were I heard mics (not coincidentially with a couple of OS members) and even while I was still playing bad and couldnt understand most of what was beeing said, it was refreshing.

Anyways, looking to keep playing and evolve my game into a worthy BF3 player ... hopefully, while beeing a part of an OS squad/platoon.

I've been using the Spawn Beacon more recently. Especially during Rush where you can just put it near the M-Coms on Defense or in a closer spot to the action on the attacking side. No idea why no one uses it really.

Can someone shed some light on the ranking system ?

I'm almost at 31 and I see there's a trophy for getting to 45.

Is that as high as it goes or is there something similar to the COD Prestige ? I have noticed the guys who have the Eagle next to their rank and they are only ranked 1-5.. so I'm assuming there's something past 45

Rank 45 is Colonel, and I think I read there are 100 steps of Colonel you can reach. So when you're seeing someone as a Colonel 5, it's really like they're rank 50.

This game is really a thing of beauty. It's so fun, sounds amazing, and looks great. I'm still loving it as much as I did the first time I played it. However, it seems like everyone I am put on a team with is still an idiot. A few games ago I had 1,000 more points than anyone in the game, but my team lost and the other team had well over 100 tickets left. They probably would have had 200 tickets easily had I not captured so many bases. I didn't have that many kills, just a lot of captures. That's why I had so many points.

It just drives me insane playing with randoms in Conquest, but that's my favorite mode, yet I hardly ever win in it because it's near impossible to carry a team. Nearly all games my team gets destroyed, I am near the top or am the top player in the match simply because I captured bases the whole time. There have been many times where I've lived for 10 minutes straight and captured 5-6 bases without ever seeing anyone. If it's that easy for me, it should be that easy for a few others on the team too, but apparently no one ever captures it seems, unless they're on the other team.

Try capturing just enough to have more than the other team and start defending them. There's really no point on trying to capture every objective unless your team is really dominating them. You're just allowing the enemy to take one of your points while you and maybe some others go out there to grab another point. Your team isn't really benefitting from that other than getting a couple of points for yourself.

What's happening is I will take A, go for B so that we have 2 of the 3. Then we lose A while I'm capturing B. Then I'll defend B, but we never get A back, so I'll go back for it and we'll lose B nearly right away.

I always try to make sure we have the majority. I don't try to get A, B, C, and D. I try to get A and B, then maybe C, but try my best to make sure we always have 2 no matter the map. It's just too much work for one person to do though, and that's how it feels. I must have really bad luck because I never seem to get a team that is capable of capturing bases on their own.
