If you're playing with randoms that are idiots, is it not fair to assume that the randoms on the opposing team are idiots as well? And in saying so, that you are not at any real disadvantage at all?

No there is not. I'd love a way to do combat training w/bots to 'practice up' some, but alas...GO 'HAWKS!

Re: Battlefield 3
When that happens I just try to play it out...most of the idiots on my team will eventually leave if the team is getting slaughtered like that, forcing the teams to even up on the next map/match. I don't usually see multiple maps of complete slaughters like that, unless one side doesn't lose players.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
Do any of you guys laugh at the random yelling by the American soldiers? I found myself entrenching around B with a couple of squad mates. It was totally quiet. Out of nowhere that little orange ball appeared and the next thing you hear is "F*** A GRENADE!!!!!!!!!!" I died laughing laughing. THen when we were involved in a fierce fire fight out of nowhere one of the sodliers just yelled "I'm gonna kill them all!!!!!" Just the little humorous things that makes me laugh while getting slaughtered in Operation Metro because my teammates want to lie prone on the tracks and snipe people on the escalators.Comment

Operation Metro is an interesting map. Other names they could have used for it: Operation Slaughterhouse, Pain Station, Fish in a Barrel lolGO 'HAWKS!

I believe it's the Russians who start up by the cafe, yes? Either way, that side has such an insanely short run to B. At least it feels that way. Although, I'm pretty sure it is technically shorter.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
Just had my 360 overheat for the 4th time now with this game. It has never done it with any other game, but this one and has done it 4 times now.
I love this game, but do I not have the worst of luck with it or what?
Edit: Make that 5 overheatings. 2 tonight in a 45 minute span(as in my 360 was only turned on for a total of 45 minutes tonight and overheated twice on this game).Last edited by canes21; 11-15-2011, 10:28 PM.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: Battlefield 3
Honestly do not know, but I don't really think it's the system. Part of me feels it is, but part of me doesn't. I never even knew the 360 would turn itself off before overheating until it did it for the first time in this game. The game has been out 3 weeks now and I have had 5 overheatings. No other game has done this to me ever.
I turned my console on at 9:40 tonight, and stopped playing at 10:25. That is 45 minutes. In that time span I had it shut off twice due to overheating while playing this game. The other night I spent 3-4 straight hours in NCAA 12 and it worked perfectly.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”
