Am I the only one who has had issues where all the sound goes out? ( except for own gunshots) Its happened quite a bit and I'm guessing by how many times it's happened and no real reason for it that it's some kind of glitch? Thoughts? Knowledge?

It's a known bug which sadly is being ignored by dice as the upcoming patch makes no mention of it. It happens quite often and really hurts the game and gets you killed more often as you can't react to the sounds around you.

Yay soflam finally fixed! Wish they could fix the sound issues, but I guess they can't.

Exactly! At first I thought my headset/tv was broken... It's an absolute horrible issue! It's like being deaf on the battlefield... Can't do that much when it's like that! And I just did some research about the patch and ur right! No mention of it?!? How can something this large be not mentioned or fixed? At least say they're working on it

No flares for the gunner seat in attack choppers? Need another person for laser painter in scout choppers? Buff for stingers?

I finally get to the point where I can fly the choppers pretty well and this patch could seriously ruin the choppers

I was seriously fine with the game balance. The only thing I disliked was the M93R being overpowered...but that's just a sidearm. Not like a main weapon that you get killed by multiple times a game. The game was fine. They should have just fixed bugs rather than re-balancing stuff

Had some good games on 360 last night with Authentic, T-Magic, Nuni, & kt-od.

The first game when it was just me on the other team really sucked. Magic jumped right on top of me, I don't think he even knew I was there. I start shooting him (in the legs cause hes standing on me) and somehow he ends up killing me. Then the next game I switched over in the middle, but before I switched Magic had taken my tags and was 4-0 against me. The 2nd match Authentic and I were on same team to start and Magic just seemed to be everywhere. Nothing went right for me until I got in the OS squad later that match.

Playing with the new patch now. Armored Kill wont be live until 12pm pst.

Air radar is nice, the flag icons on the mini map are also nice.

edit: m416 = laser beam
cannister shell to tank shell takes for ever.

I forgot Armored Kill comes today...

I'll download the patch after work, but I can't get Armored Kill until payday.

I have some other stuff to clear up first. It should work out nice, because I wlll get CQ and AK at the same time. This is exactly why I held out on Premium.

I will be back on tonight, but likely won't get to play with anyone if everyone is on AK. I mentioned my internet woes a few posts back, but I've also been sick for a few days and I haven't felt like sitting in front of my TV much.

It's been about a week for me, Mike.. I'm def. having withdrawls.

I wish I could call and explain to someone in my house how to boot up Battlefield and start downloading the patch for me.

Tankers... the canister load is looooong. The canister shell was great when fending off rushing c4 soldiers. Since the tank shell did little damage the immediate follow up with the canister was the only way to defend. Now you basically need to back up and then shoot them. I switched to the heavy machine gun on the tank already.

I'm not liking the feedback about the patch, thus far..

I hate when they feel the need to change things that are fine the way they are.
