Because it's easier to believe that they'd be able to speak English with ****ty accents relevant to their nationalities in America than it would be to believe everyone in Brazil speaks English.

That kind of realism is something Rockstar would not mess around with.

      THIS.

GTA in Brazil would be perfect, if they did in SAO PAULO and RIO...Huge cities, with wealthy neighbourhoods and poor neighbourhoods, great night life, big crime rate, corrupt politicians, women...

        You're right, the U.S. doesn't have women.

A game Similar to GTA would work for Sao Paulo, but not GTA. Likes I said earlier, there is a Formula for Success in GTA, part of that Formula is a satire of America. GTA IV took full advantage of the Post 9/11 Terror Hysteria and made fun of it.

Trust me when I say this, GTA will stay in America.

I actually thought about this earlier today and would probably like to see this as well. Either Philly or Chicago would be great spots for the next GTA.

One of the Driver games (Driver 2 I think) had a stage in Brazil. It was frustrating to me because the streets were kinda small.

I'd love to see them do Europe -- like some combination of London, Paris and Rome. I think that would still sell very well in the United States. But if it's going to stay in the U.S, I'd be up for Texas.

You know what I think would be cool was to see a story and city arc over many GTA's. Fir instance they start at Red Dead Redemption time period in the old west, they tell a story of say a person who escaped to America and rose to power in the old west rags to riches, then the Govt goes after him and takes down his family or his power, etc.

Then they go to the prohibition era with the dudes son for the next game. The city is built up and out of the old west and you play this guy whos father or grandfather, etc was an old west legend and your getting involved in organized crime/prohibition stuff.

then the third game goes into the 50's /60's period where the city is even bigger and built up, they continue the story somehow linking it a little to the previous stories and move it forward.

                  then the 80's/90's

then a present day story and then finally a futuristic game set in the future and ending the whole story out where the city is huge, the story of this 1 family is crazy and they can have cool "back to the future" futurama type gimmicks and it;; be great and you can still see the town is the same town just now in the future.

I'd love to see a midwestern version of San Andreas - three cities based on Chicago, Detroit and St. Louis, with Indiana farmland in between.

A game like this might be cool especially from Rockstar, but I would not be happy if this was the next GTA. If it was a new series, or just a new game that is one and done by Rockstar, i would appreciate it more.

GTA picks a city and a plot that intertwines, The Midwest really does not have anything going on that would create a good story. For Example, GTA Vice City worked because of Cocaine, San Andreas had the West Coast Gangs. I have to imagine(ill say this again) GTA will not go away from their bread and butter. Rockstar has created a International Sensation, No one outside of the Midwest gives a damn about the Midwest.

That is the Genius of having 3 cities that have alot going on in today's society. For Example, GTA could go with the Latin American Immigration storyline, that is current and is a wedge issue in American Politics, but that story would work in either Vice City or San Andreas. not so much in the Mid West because the main Immigration problem is down south.

Yaknow what, Im feeling Ballsy, Im going to predict the Storyline and the Location:

                        San Andreas
                        Immigration/ Drug Cartel story line

You play as the son of Kendl (CJ's Sister) and Cesar. (You Character will be about 18-20)

I wouldn't mind an updated version of San Andreas, with several missions taking place in Vice and GTA III Liberty City. How sweet would that be?

They would have to create a huge world for that. San Andreas is already huge, plus Vice & Liberty city would make it unreal.

Would it be possible for Rockstar to do what Forza 3 did and make a second disk that is a mandatory install? The second disk could include more cars, more to the city, or more cities, more of everything. Is that possible?

Could Rockstar spend a ton on of space on story, graphics, etc. and then have the city, cars, peds, side missions, etc. all on a separate disk we must install? That way we get a gigantic city with an amazing and extremely long story.
