I wouldn't mind if Rockstar released San Andres featuring RAGE and the online features from GTA IV. I would gladly pay $60 for it. That would easily hold me over until the next GTA. But that probably won't happen, so I really would like Rockstar to go the gangster route again. Maybe some gang in Miami so we get the best of both my worlds?
Same here, That would be pretty amazing...

However, I would be all in favor of an extended/more detailed vigilante mode.
I think R* would do a damn good job of spinning it in a way where you make a big decision in the end. After Red Dead Redemptions story, I'm all for it!

Rockstar has created a International Sensation, No one outside of the Midwest gives a damn about the Midwest.

That is the Genius of having 3 cities that have alot going on in today's society. For Example, GTA could go with the Latin American Immigration storyline, that is current and is a wedge issue in American Politics, but that story would work in either Vice City or San Andreas. not so much in the Mid West because the main Immigration problem is down south.

Yaknow what, Im feeling Ballsy, Im going to predict the Storyline and the Location:

        San Andreas
        Immigration/ Drug Cartel story line

Good point...but I've often thought about a GTA Middle East scenario. Not necessarily Iraq or Afghanistan, but Qatar, Yemen, Bahrain could pose a pretty intense storyline.

I think GTA could pull it off in the Middle East, but I I am 99% sure they will stay in the USA. Its their formula and it works greatly.

I know what you mean. I just fired up San Andreas again - love smokin' Ballas while blasting 'Deep Cover'.

One thing Rockstar should have added. After you rob Caligula's, you shouldn't be able to go near that joint without getting blasted by the Mafia, like St. Mark's in GTA III.

lol I have been killing Ballas left and right. Since I am playing it on my 360 I had to start a new game, but I don't care because I love the story so much. San Andreas is truly a special game and I would love to have an updated San Andres featuring RAGE an online modes.

I'm still playing San Andreas myself on the PC. To me, its hands down better than GTA IV. Much better car selection, player and car customization, way more side missions and time wasters...plus planes!!

As for as the next GTA, I've been hoping and praying for the longest for a chicago edition. Just cause its my city.

I have a feeling we get the first bit of info next month. It adds up because aside from GTA IV, October is the usual GTA release date. So I'm guessing we get the first details next month and that the game comes out October 2011.

And no, I didn't get this info from anywhere. Just a guess.

Yeah, Max Payne 3, the one that is in Brazil or whatever. I think it got pushed back a little while ago.

GTA III was released in October 2001. I could see Rockstar doing the ten-year anniversary thing.

We definitely need to fid out when this Max Payne event is. I did see a little easter egg while playing San Andreas today. I was robbing the gas station with Catalina and when it was the one where you steal the truck and trailer. In the window of the gas station a sticker on it said Max Pane.

Really? I have to check that out. I'm doing the Badlands missions too(my favorite part of the game, except for the racing missions).

                              Just a rumor

                              http://www.ps3trophies.org/news/news...e--Rush-?.html

As any kind of official word on Grand Theft Auto V continues to elude us, the rumour mill has once again begun to grind into action, and it could be that it's dispensed a few potential slivers of interesting GTA V information, courtesy of internet sleuth, Superannuation, whose Twitter feed is host to a string of posts pertaining to a casting call for characters.
These characters all feature in something that's currently going under the codename of 'Rush', with the casting call going out to actors for motion capture. Superannuation's investigation began in late February, when a reference to motion capture - which has since been erased - led to Rockstar's favourite casting studio, Telsey & Company......"Among the projects listed in the casting call was an "interactive project" called "Rush," which featured characters that fit with the few details I heard about GTA5; outlandish characters, weed, gangsters, & celebrities fit the profile for a contemporary LA-set GTA game," Superannuation tweeted last night. "Plus it's being casted by Telsey & Company. With all of that, I feel fairly confident in saying that "Rush" is actually a codename for GTA5."
