I don't remember seeing all these complaints about GTA IV until well after the game had been out.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

You get the same phenomena with sports games. People love it when it's out. But when you play it over and over and over all sometimes what sticks out are the flaws, the things you wish you didn't have to do over and over again.

I thought we were talking about GTA IV. Then you mentioned San Andreas in your response. Either way, we'll likely disagree and it's probably better just to get back to discussing GTA V instead.

Very true. GTA IV was amazing to me for a long time. But at some point, (again, after hours and hours of enjoyment) I realized the sandbox exploration wasn't quite on the same levels as San Andreas. There were places to go outside of the storyline but once reaching them it was like, "Okay... now what?" So many things existed, but so few could be manipulated.

It actually kind of depresses me when games reach that point. The feeling of exploration is so exhilarating that you never want it to end. GTA IV and San Andreas both had me addicted and amazed, San Andreas just seemed to have more lasting power due to the significant number of non-mission possibilities. That moment of, "Oh... I've done everything" took a lot longer to reach. I view Red Dead Redemption in a similar manner. Even after completing the storyline, the amount of extra interesting things for which to partake seemed more San Andreas than IV, thus giving RDR extended life.

No, you are not. All the games are great in their own ways.

For sure. As much as I look back and think about what they could have done different in IV, I still played the crap out of it for months on end. San Andreas is still number one in my book, but they're all great.

GTA V looks to be on a whole other level however.

I haven't played a game in this series for quite some time. I am looking forward to giving it a go although I will probably only play a mission or two before going out and driving over people.

So, with multiple antagonists, is it possible that a multiplayer coop story mode will be included with this?

                  If so...holy ****...

They said no to co-op but they also said no buying property and such as well.
