FP looks pretty good. I never beat this game on the 360, mostly because I ended up jumping into multiplayer once it released and the MP soured me on the game completely. Thinking about getting this on PS4

The 3rd to FP perspective is a mere button press to switch. That's a nice touch. There may be some sites best used with a particular view, making it a very fluid transition helps.

Yup, taken from rockstars site:

Available in both GTAV and GTA Online, we've made a host of changes to accommodate this new perspective, including the creation of an optional first person cover system, a new targeting system, a more traditional FPS control scheme, and integrating thousands of new animations into the existing game. It's also available at the touch of a button so you can easily switch back and forth between perspectives.

I'll suck driving in FP, but the weapons look even more fun to use.

Definitely buying this again. I still remember some saying this wouldn't come to PS4/XB1. Yeah right...

I'll try out first person just to see it but (my opinion of course), this game is meant to be played third person. Part of the charm is seeing the characters and how they interact with the environment.

That said, options are always good and it's cool that that they included this.

For me FP adds to the feeling that I am "There"...
I've always felt more into a game with that view.
But I get your point though. .Even though seeing my character isn't that important. .. I'll just find a mirror if I need too lol

I'm in the "gta is a 3rd person game" crowd. Would feel just as weird if gears of war went first person. I'll try it though.

Maybe that's the reason why they made the driving a bit less realistic for GTA V (compared to 4). I've never thought of GTA as a FPS, but it looks great.

I used some mods to play IV in 1st person on the PC. It was pretty cool. This blows any of them away. It looks amazing and I know I'm going to be in 1st person the majority of the time, if not all of the time. Can not wait.

I guess we maybe now know why Heists are not out yet.
