I finally tried the demo the other day and not bad at all, runs very smooth and graphically looks pretty good. Not sure how I feel yet about Capelli as the lead. One of the enemies, the jumpers, looked like some of the aliens in Battle LA. They should have just called that movie Gears of Resistance, it takes so much from both franchises. I guess we won't know till the full game how Capelli is as a character, but I do miss Nathan Hale as the main character. He was so badass of a character.

I really enjoyed the first 2 and wanna go back and play them again as I've only did so once. This is defnetly gonna be on my christmas list along with the sharpshooter gun.

Finally got around to playing Resistance and now am on the last chapter of Resistance 2. I have really enjoyed both games this is moving up to the top of my list for fall releases

I just finished both of them last week & I agree, Hale was a bad ***. Couldn't believe the ending of part 2. I almost shed a tear...

I'll be in the beta tomorrow as I have the code that came with Socom 4. Looking forward to it.

Some of my impressions of the beta so far. It's hard to get into a game as you have to try multiple times and can take awhile. I like the graphics but their is way way too much motion blur when running, gives me a headache as it's hard to focus on your surroundings. If you do get into a game expect alot of disconnects and have to start over again to find a game. I still am enjoying the beta and like the graphics and lower player count compared to Resistance 2. It's a beta so it's expected their would be problems.

matchmaking is down. so you have to do private matches.
