If you haven't yet...check out Battle Commander TDM,that's been by far my most played mode as of recently.People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

Re: Homefront (360/PS3)
I am enjoying the game but the servers are pretty terrible plus I freeze everytime I leave a game and have to reboot. I can live with the poor graphics but poor servers is another story."If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

Re: Homefront (360/PS3)
servers finally cooperated last night.
Got into my first 32 man GC game with some players who know what was up.
WOW.. so cool. Crazy action. Of course still a few snipers hiding out all day but so much other stuff as well. I took my Sentry drone and marked the crap out of them. One camper I even kept buzzing with my drone and he had to stop sniping to keep swatting me away.Last edited by Klocker; 03-17-2011, 12:30 PM.Comment

Also need to look into the battle points stuff more, I like that aspect of the game, buying things with points you earned.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Homefront (360/PS3)
After two days now I am still loving this game. The servers are getting ironed out, at least on the 360. The graphics are nowhere near as bad as people make them out to be. I actually like the graphics somewhat in this game.
I love the movement in this game too. The momentum is awesome. I hate in CoD how you can run, turn and keep sprinting like Newton's laws don't exist. In this game you actually have to take a few steps before reaching full speed, when turning you start off slow and gain speed, and when you are in mid air you can't somehow instantly change directions. The movement just feels really well done and probably better than BC2 in my opinion.
The sound is also done very well. I still haven't decided if it sounds better than BC2, but it definitely competes with it. Easily a lot better than any other FPS out there except maybe the BC games.
As for gameplay, I love it. It has a small blend of CoD and BC2, but has its own unique feel to it as well and it all converges to make a great game. The hit detection is better than any other game I have ever played. I also like how you have to lead your shots like in BC2, but not nearly as much. These bullets actually travel fast like real bullets. And you can see each individual bullet someone shoots by you which is really cool.
Overall I am really enjoying this game and it should probably be able to hold me over until BF3. If you are a fan of the BC2 series I recommend this game. If you enjoy the CoD games more, you may want to rent this and see how you enjoy it.
I can see this game being the next BC2. Comes out, has server issues. Many people trade it in day one because of the "silly graphics" or terrible servers, "sluggish movement"(which is really just called momentum), etc. But then the servers get fixed and some people end up buying it back. Others wait until its cheaper and then buy it and say they wish they had bought it earlier.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

I think a lot of my frustrations come form poor connections and lag. Hopefully the servers and patches will smooth all that out.

At first I was all gung ho on this game and then I was discouraged and as more people level up and the servers started working.... I can totally agree with this post. I'm not OMG over the moon on it like I was when BC2 first hit, but it's starting to resonate with me.
I think a lot of my frustration came from poor connections and lag. As the servers get smoothed out (and patched) hopefully it gets better as I think it plays well with good connections.Last edited by Klocker; 03-17-2011, 03:51 PM.Comment

For you guys that have unlocked battle commander mode, what's the biggest threat that you ever became? I just had an awesome match but only got to 3 stars.#HeatNation

I got to 4 stars twice. The most frustrating one though was when a game ended when I needed 1 more kill to get that 5th star. Worst part was I was chasing a guy and had just brought up my sights to shoot.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights
NCAAF: Ohio State
NFL: Minnesota Vikings
