Best I've seen is $16 and change on Amazon.

+ Going beast mode on fools with these (for lack of better word) fatalities, just walk up and BOOM hammer to head!
+ Better initial impression than Oblivion
+ Graphics overall are nice, not modded Oblivion nice, not Crysis 2 nice but nice,it's the best this company has done

        -Loading...
        - No ones heads are exploding or anything cool like that from the fatalities, like in Fallout
        - Loading....
        - Screen tearing is very noticeable,it's not frequent but when it happens you won't miss it
        - Loading.....
        - One piece armors
        - Loading........
        - I told someone to follow me and I have no idea where he went
        - Loading...........
        - Something's wrong with everyones nose, the tip is just a sploch like the texture didn't load,it looks awful
        - Loading.......................
        - Interface is a bit clunky
        - Loading..................................
        - Long load times!
        - Combat almost feels like it's trying to be AC but you can only swing in one direction at a time, like you can't really hit someone to the right and then to the left and of course it doesn't have the neat counter things
        - Did I mention this game has really long load times? I'd hope the PC version has a better showing. 360 users make sure to install,PS3 users uhhh get it on something else. The NBA lockout might be over by the time this thing loads.

In the PC gamer review, it actually said the load times were quite fast.

These are your personal impressions? You own both and you've compared them? You're saying load times are a lot longer on the PS3?

In any case, load times are somewhat subjective. Also, I don't expect instant load times when you're loading up a huge outdoor world with super far draw distances. If a tavern interior takes as long to load as the whole outdoors though, we have a problem.

Exactly, goh, before you make trolling comments such as this, A) you need to verify that you have the game period... and B, since you're making such bold statements, you need to verify that you have both versions before putting down the PS3 version. Seriously, you're on the clock to show proof. Comments like that aren't needed.

Reading comprehension fail. I'm saying load times are really long on the 360 and you can't install it on PS3 to reduce them.

From the video comparison I was thinking of switching to PS3. But here's another website comparison (360 v PS3) that looks much closer. I'm glad since the 360 is in my man cave.

Here's another article stating xbox 360 version needs to be installed for better graphics.

                          Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

The same mandatory install 90% of PS3 games have isn't what I was talking about. Fully installing the game. Ya know, like on the 360.

                          and oh...hay-ay....

As good as the visuals are in the Xbox 360 version of Skyrim, there are a few drawbacks. Even with the game installed, load times are lengthy and frequent. Every time you fast travel, every time you enter a building or town with a door, you'll need to sit through a load. You'll also experience framerate drops depending on how much happens to be onscreen. The PC crowd should be happy to hear that, assuming you've got a powerful machine, The Elder Scrolls V looks far and away the best. The draw distance can be pushed way back, letting you see clear across enormous spaces, and you benefit from a higher visual quality throughout, as well as dramatically shortened load times, to the point where they barely exist at all.

I watched the guy from giantbomb.com play. He was on the 360 and his load times, for me at least, were fine.

Sure, they are frequent, but it wasn't too long, unless you are really impatient.

Pretty much. Then again, when you know you are picking a game up for PC down the road with no intention of enjoying the console version, then yeah, it's easy to complain about.

Personally, it's not going to bother me. All Bethesda games have longer than average load times due to the massive amount of content. Did anyone expect this to be any different?

Oblivion had a lot of loading, as long as it is not worse than that I am fine.
