Do any of the Dawnguard mods fix this? Like the Unofficial Dawnguard Patch from Nexus?

haven't read anything about that issue with the unofficial patch mods. I think there are some mods that make some NPCs(quest givers, shopkeepers, etc..) unkillable by anyone other than you.

if you can still find their dead bodies, you can resurrect them with the console commands on PC. I haven't notice anyone important dieing from those vampire attack yet though. it's at night and it's mostly just guards outside by then, and they seem to handle them fairly well. I usually help out as well, had to reload a few times as I've 1-hit killed a few guards by accident. I guess it depends if those attack can occur when your not around(most likely), that might be an issue.

I've read there are mods that let you assign people in the game to become essential, which means they can't be killed. I play on the Xbox, so I don't really know much about the PC mod community.

Belethor was killed at night in my game and it is a pain because he was my main gem buyer since I have a home in Whiterun. Plus I have so much stuff stored in my home and it was easy to sell items to him when other shopkeepers are out of gold.

Him and Warmaidens blacksmith shop are my two main merchants. The Riverwood trader is usually loaded with about 10,000 gold if you need to sell off a bunch of stuff real quick. Invest in his business, and his money is always at least triple what other shopkeepers have.

Just started a new game on the PC. Still working on making it perfect with all the mods, but it's a start.

Took me a while to figure out how to fix the menu when running it on 3 monitors though. Got it done, thankfully. Couldn't read any of the menus as it was gigantic before I found the fix.

                That one is pretty good.

That should help your vampire problem. It's in Russian but should still work.

                  Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

finally went ahead and finish the thieves guild quest, got a bunch of quest done from dawnguard as well.

got my smithing skill up and was able to make this armor set, called Sicarius Armor(light armor). It's from a mod called "master of death", which added this armor set, as well as changing all the Dark Brotherhood armor/clothing to make them look better. The shrouded armor looks simular to the Sicarius Armor in the picture, but black. I even made a set for Serana(although she wont wear the hood, instead she always uses her default hood). haven't enchanted any of it yet, waiting to improve my enchanting skill first.

the cloak is not part of the armor, it's a separate mod, the one I'm wearing has a +60 HP enchantment on it. looted it from a master vampire.

The sword is called "Ebony Blade". it has low base attack, but absorbs 30 points of health and the charge never depletes. it is bugged though. it's listed as a 2-hand weapon(and the animations of a 2 hander), but it's attack is based on your 1-hand skill. it still improves your 2-hand skill though. for PC users, there is a mod that fixes it to either a 1-hand or 2-hand all the way, which ever you want it to be.

Dragonborn coming tomorrow to Xbox LIVE. Coming to PS3 and PC early 2013.

We’re less than 24 hours away from unleashing Skyrim’s next add-on Dragonborn on Xbox LIVE. It’s one of our most ambitious add-ons ever and we’re excited for everyone to play it.

We’re also happy to announce Dragonborn will be available on PS3 and PC early next year.

The support from Skyrim fans over the last year has been amazing, and it’s driven us to support Skyrim more than any game we’ve ever released – including free content updates, modding tools like the Creation Kit and the Skyrim Workshop, and our add-ons, Dawnguard and Hearthfire.

And we’re still not done – we look forward to sharing more Skyrim news next year!
                    Eurogamer

When asked why Dragonborn would be coming out on all formats when the previous DLCs still hadn't made it on PS3, Bethesda responded, “We think Dragonborn is our best add-on for Skyrim yet, and we didn't want fans to wait long, so that's our current focus. Each platform takes a lot of time and attention.”

But where are all the other DLCs on PS3? Are they in the pipeline? “As noted in our blog post, we're not done with content for Skyrim," said Bethesda. "When we're ready to share more details, we'll update everyone.” I'm afraid that's all we're getting on the MIA DLCs for now.

PS3 users only read "blah blah blah blah blah"

If they claim they can get the "best" dlc content to play nice with PS3 then why can't they get smaller expansions to work? All a bunch bs to me and I won't believe it till I see it in the store.

                        Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

I've been playing with the Skyrim ReDone mod, which pretty much makes the game more difficult and realistic. There have been times when I was doing the first quest for the Golden Claw and have run into only 2 bandits that just completely owned me. It's been a blast. Plus the game is absolutely beautiful on my PC.

I obviously had to make these smaller (I play at 5760x1080 splayed across 3 monitors) so some detail has been lost.

To run the graphics on ultra it requires a fairly high end pc I believe, but even lower ones run it on lower settings.

I have like 50 mods or so running alongside SkyRe, so don't expect graphics like that necessarily.

Tell me about it. I am really bummed out almost to the point of being pissed about the lack or DLC for PS3.
