Re: Mass Effect 3
From what I heard it is possible to get 4,000 Readiness if you make all the "right" decisions in ME1-ME3. Like havingSpoilerRachni Queen live, Kelly Chambers live, Purchasing the new stuff in NG+, Getting the reporter on your ship and not punching the reporter in the face.
Sent from me, duh.
The numbers have been gone over by multiple people and the most anyone has come up with was 7899. 7500ish seems to be the most common outcome.
SpoilerIf the Queen lives you have to lose some Krogan. You get more total if she lives. The rest just don't add much and all you get for NG+ is your fish to count if they lived.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 3
...As far as multiplayer is concerned I don't mind it in this game because like I said before the game is amazing for 99 percent of it. I have a hard time believing anything would be different about single player or that the game would have been "better" if MP was taken out. Yes the galactic readiness wouldn't be in it, but other than that the SP IMO is as good if not better than the first two up until the very end.MLB: Cincinnati Reds

Re: Mass Effect 3
SpoilerIts just like pac-man. If the reapers catch you all it says is game over. Reload/Retry/Restart. I thought it was a really bad part of the game. My OCD was going to explore all the planets but because of the reapers I gave up on it. It just got annoying. At least I never had to buy fuel though this time around.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 3
The fact the game would just load you right back into the system if the reapers caught you made that part of the game sort of worthless. Just scan the system, find all the signals, and if the reapers catch you, just reload and you know where everything is.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

I refused to let them catch me even though I knew the consequences were minimal. My pride just wouldn't let me do it haha.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 3
I've been doing the exact same thing. I actually toy with them a bit. When you press the button to enter a star system, the direction the Normandy is facing determines where in the star system it starts you while pointing at the star in the middle. I've used that quite often. I scan the crap out of star systems regardless of reaper awareness. I've cut it close a few times though.MLB: Cincinnati Reds

Re: Mass Effect 3
the reapers are too slow in the galaxy map. I just piss them off by scanning constantly while they chase me then I bolt from the system once they get to me. come back, let them toot their horn and repeat.
I've seen PC edits that make them slower, which I don't get. It's not like it's hard to get away. I've been caught only once, and that was because I wanted to see what happens.Comment

That video makes too much sense. I knew the ending was weird and creepy, but didn't catch this at all. To be honest I actually like the ending now lolComment

Re: Mass Effect 3
just tried out the M-99 Saber Assault rifle with my sentinel. man that thing packs a punch. fire rate is slow and is super heavy, but since I don't use the gun much with my sentinel anyway, it's not that bad. Probably stick with the Mattock though, that way I can have a +200% cooldown bonus instead of the +172% or so with the Saber.Comment

Failure in any game is worthless at this point because you just saved 2 minutes ago. The only thing it ever results in is annoyance or frustration.Comment
