Finally finishing up the Amalur DLC, so its time to finally dive into the Witcher universe. My video card is too crappy to get the PC version, so 360 it is.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever. -
Been debating on getting this. Is it similar to Skyrim??? How long is the game??The poster formerly know as "FLIGHTWHITE"Comment

Even Skyrim can be "short" if you just blow through all of the main missions. Take your time and enjoy the ride and what a ride it has been so far. I am about 11 hours in and I am still on Act I.GT: BIG CAROLINA23

The only similarity to Skyrim is that they're both video games in the RPG genre. They are completely different games.
I think my first run was between 25-35 hours, and there's good replay value to see the other sides of choices.Last edited by trobinson97; 04-27-2012, 10:50 AM.PS: You guys are great.

To me it's nothing like any other RPG. The game appears to be quite long (have not finished it yet). Took me almost 3 hours to get through the prologue.

Re: The Witcher 2 (PC) (360 soon)
This isn't like Skryim. This is a story driven game and not a sandbox universe. With that being said, I enjoyed playing this game more than Skyrim. I can't recommend this game enough.Comment

I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Been checking out some of the reviews on other gaming sites to get a feel for what I am about to encounter. I'm actually scared to crack this baby open knowing that this seems like a Masterpiece of a game I'm about to play

don't be man, there are so many paths for you to choose and different endings so that if you feel you messed up, you can always play through again and you will definitely want to play through again because the combat is that good. You have so many tools at your disposal when attacking, but the combat is still tough yet rewarding. It's unlike any RPG I've played, and I can't wait to get back into it, burned myself out a little from playing the first witcher all last week lol.Comment

MLB The Show 12 Dodger Franchise will be neglected for a few days but I'm sure my CYBER TEAM will forgive me. LOL

Just installed this to my HD and just watched the Opening scene and WTF???? I've never seen any game in my entire gaming life that left me in AWE like this. If the rest of the game is anything similar/like this then this is gonna be one helluva experience.
