Oh man found a shotty that does explosive damage around level 3, up to 8 and still haven't found a gun that can compare to the carnage that gun does. Looks like I'm rolling with shottys.

Also love the phaselock ability of the siren. Definitely a good choice for me as far as character and class.

I found one too that just cuts through everything. Only two shots before I have to reload, but I don't even care.

Elemental damage is beastly, I just keep going back to elemental pistols, at range, up close they are just the best I've found.

Sniper rifles kind of suck, can't carry enough ammo, headshot/critical necessary, and enemy aim is too good.

Right now I go med-long range elemental pistol and if anything gets close I do the invisibility thing (Zero) and switch to shotgun for the extra damage shot, then switch back to pistol. Even close range, because of the slow reload, I've found pistols to be more effective than shotguns. But it's still very early so everything can and probably will change.

Anyone found any good loot spots yet?

I just found a gun I'll probably be using for a while. It's some kind of badass SMG that deals fire damage . I was killing level 9 and 10 Nomads in less than a second with it when I was level 11 (I'm 12 now).

Circle of Slaughter or whatever it's called. I'm getting owned in it though, can't quite complete the 3rd wave of round 1 (bandits.)

I backed myself into a corner though and got mobbed by suicide midgets.

Leveled Maya to 6 last night. Never played the first game. Game seems pretty hard. I'm dying lots, and always seem to be at the vendor buying ammo. Haven't found any really bad *** guns, but I'm still running around Liars Berg.

Taking some time getting used to the game, doing all the optional missions.

It's fun. But quite a bit of a learning curve.

I feel like this game is a bit harder than the first borderlands. i leveled up my commando to 5 solo and played some co-op with a buddy and got my assassin up to level 6. the xp and loot on co-op makes you level up much faster.

so far im having an absolute blast playing this game some of the dialogue cracks me up.

Slag. Causes you to do more damage with non-slag weapons after you coat them with it.
