Coming from a big fan of SC2K and 3k, DO NOT get this game. Buying this game for a penny is a rip-off.

I pretty much gave up on the game. Its pretty much a watered down Sim City game, that isn't really a good simulation. I know they have fixed some of the issues that they had at launch but I dont think its even close to being as good as SimCity 4. They also have over priced DLC, who pays $10 to have Airships added into their game when it should have been there to begin with. They've said that they'll be adding in a whole bunch of features soon but haven't stated if the features are free or not. My recommendation would be to wait until those features get added in to the game, by then the game should be cheaper. I really had a crappy experience with the game and it pretty much turned me off from EA. If it wasn't for Battlefield games, I would delete Origin from my computer.

It's fun and I don't really regret buying it, but as you run out of land and trafdic starts building up the flaws become more and more apparent.

Worth buying at whatever price you feel comfortable with as long as you have low expectations. Love the interplay between cities, and collaborating between cities to build a larger project (spaceport, solar plant, arcology, etc.)

          C'mon, that's ridiculous.

For an incredibly low price like that, you'd easily get your money's worth out of it.

If it's on sale, and you're comfortable with the price, go ahead. You'll still enjoy it.

I had one of my cities close and ever since I get a error that says cannot load this city at this time. Has anyone seen this fixed or can I recover the city at all or are we stuck with a lost area?

This is what broke me of the game, an inaccessible city. Lots of fun prior aside from some traffic problems.

I'll be back when they bring in larger plots for cities and subways.

As someone who bought at launch, it is not that bad. For $30 or less its a good game.

Next patch adds overpasses, underpasses, and tunnels. This is the patch that brings me back to Simcity. The traffic logic should also be better so this game should really become interesting again.

Hopefully we get bigger maps and highways soon.

Yeah, this will get me to fire it back up and tinker a little.

Is this the July 30 patch, or is there another one coming soon?
