Just finished playing some games on both the PC and 360.

It's Crysis 2 all over again.... at least on 360. Terrible lag, hit detection and matchmaking. Host always dominates, everyone for the most part is on a one or two bar. Ridiculous.

PC is fine, when you find the right server. Even when you join a low ping server, your own ping in game is around 150.

I just don't understand.... might cancel my Origin PC pre order.

Haven't really noticed a huge amount of lag so far. Some here and there, but nothing gamebreaking. Hit Detection doesn't seem to be bad. Maybe I have just gotten lucky in the games I have played, in terms of the matchmaking.

I don't doubt it is a problem though, since Crysis 2 suffered from sigficant lag and the game doesn't have dedicated servers. Like I said in my previous posts my biggest problem so far is that the playing as a Cell in Hunter mode just isn't any fun whatsoever. Playing as the hunter also isn't very fun since the game gives you so many advantages.

Even if the MP doesn't turn out to well, I am still buying the game primarly for the single player campaign anyways.

Played over 8 to 9 matches on Xbox 360 and so far not 1 lagged match or anything.

Just installed PC Version about to start that now...

I played a round on the PS3 and it ran pretty smooth. What I hated in Crysis 2 mp was the motion blur as it was to excessive in my opinion and gave me a headache. I didn't do to badly in my first game and I like the feel of the controls. The graphics are fine but the pc's of course will look the best. I haven't tried hunter mode so can't comment on that yet.

Must be me then. I keep getting into lobbies where I'm on a one bar connection. I'll keep playing and see what happens.

PC version I'm fine with, though I did contact Origin Support to cancel my pre order. I'm going to wait till release before buying. I don't want to make the same mistake twice.

I think it all depends on who the game matches you with. Seems like it is fine if you get matched with people in your region, but there were a couple of games where I noticed some lag where I got matched with people in other countries. The matchmaking system really shouldn't allow that happen. I found that to be case in the brief time I spent with Crysis 2 MP, too many instances where you were being matched with people not in your region.

I have to play on low settings on PC LOL. I can run on high with good FPS, but when I get into a firefight or too many things go on at once, the FPS drops.

I would buy a new graphics card but I'm saving up for a new golf driver and low settings looks good enough to me :P

I played some hunter mode and enjoyed it. Does it need a few tweaks yes but it was a nice change of pace from the norm. Like mgoblue said I would like to see the hunters have no radar to make it feel like you're really searching instead of following the dots. Maybe have it where you have to spot them and they appear for a short time on the radar instead of always being visible. If that were to happen an increase in time might be needed as it would take a bit longer hunting everyone down. Maybe they'll have different variations of the mode to please people. Overall I am pleased so far and look forward to the final product. SP will be great but if the mp is solid it will be a great overall package.

Still enjoying crash site mode. With regards to lag I have been paying attention to the connection strength info at the end of the game (connection bars next to each person's name on the leaderboard) and about 80% of the time I have had three or four bars. Looking at the leaderboard I do however see alot of other people with 2 bars of less of connection. Not sure if that is problem with the game or a problem with individual players internet connections.

Not sure if anybody else has been using these two armor abilities together, but the faster movement speed one plus the faster reloads one is pretty crazy. Literally feels like your playing on fast forward. After using all the guns I really like the FY7, seems like the best all-around gun in the beta.
