Been on realistic from the start, and the only thing I've had real trouble with so far are the Criminal Convoys where you have to knock down (but not kill) two targets. I like that you really have to work on not being seen or getting caught in a bad position on realistic.

Only really had problems with my first Fixer Contract and those scanning circles that seem to pop up right when you turn a corner.

Re: Watch Dogs
Using realistic from the jump.
Anyone else using the view from inside your car when driving? I like to do this when not doing a mission. Cars seem much easier to control compared to other open world games thru that view. It's too hard to keep track of hacks and enemies though, or I would use it exclusively.Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
Played Realistic all the way through the campaign and enjoyed it on all but a couple of missions towards the end of the game. I subverted a lot of the game's shootouts with stealth tactics, but even when I had to go loud it wasn't overwhelmingly difficult.Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
I accidentally went to that view myself and couldn't figure it out. Finally just paused and went into the control options screen. It's left on the D-pad.Comment

Is normal not challenging or something? I've never seen so many people play on a harder difficulty from the start on a game I don't think.Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
I'm on normal and if I'm not careful I'll die in a quick shootout....I'm fine on normal, and don't have the time to keep retrying everything 20 times anymore. I fail sometimes on normal, so it's ok with me.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Watch Dogs
I dunno man, I mean, putting the blockers up and then having my friend ram into my compact car at full speed with a garbage truck shouldn't create some weird helicopter motion with my car flying above buildings. SMH.
(I'm not really complaining, tho. It's hilarious)

Re: Watch Dogs
Realistic isn't hard. It just doesn't let you sponge bullets. I invade nearly every enemy camp unseen with a silenced pistol and hacking comms.5Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
if you want challenge use realistic. on difficulties below realistic, it's a bit pointless to use stealth because thr shootouts are a bit easy. on realistic, the stealth aspect shines because 3 bullets in quick succession u're dead.
A splinter cell/MSG guy playing this game would most probably put the game on realistic and have an appreciation of the stealth mechanics.
This game has better stealth mechanics and cpu ai than deus ex and thief and is a notch below splinter cell blacklist (no hide bodies and more forgiving noise sensor). But for an open world game, the meat of the game is stealth if you play it on realistic.
I am very surprised that it is THIS good to be honest. The gameplay is quite varied: some missions are camera hacking heavy, some missions are more old school stealth, some missions are eliminate the enemies. Even eliminating enemies, it is recommended that you take out as many people out as quietly possible ( sneak kill or silencer bullet to the head) because again, if you go guns blazing, the numbers ggame is not in your favor and its much harder to overcome on realistic.
well done ubi montreal....
