Does anyone else think its entirely too easy to accumulate money in this game. I mean, I'm just cashing IN on peoples ATM accounts at an average of 1000 bucks a pop!! Should be a bit more difficult to get money.

Re: Watch Dogs
I haven't really found a real reason to have money yet. The outfits are pretty cheap, not much of a reason to purchase a lot of guns ( besides a grenade launcher)Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
I had a fun little hack defense just now. I was in the underground access area just after finishing a hack of my own, got the invaded message and just decided to camp it out down there. So I'm watching cars roll by and profiling them as they go. Pretty soon I hear something that doesn't quite fit that quiet scene - crunching metal and squealing tires. A moment later he rolls around the corner casually enough, but I profiled him immediately.
Unfortunately for me (and him) he then took out his grenade launcher and tried to blow me up, thus getting kicked, losing his max notoriety points and cutting my winnings in half. Don't understand why people do that.Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
any tips for evading cops on realistic?
I tried one of the fixer contracts where you have to drive a car to a point. I can sometimes evade the cops starting out, but then they get the copter out and find me and then its a long chase until my car is wrecked. I haven't advanced much in the game, so maybe I need to wait until I have most of the hacks?
I have got them with barriers or explosions in the side streets or alleys, but they just send a new car or the cop car is "fixed" and continues chasing me.
I also have had some success by getting out quickly and shooting the tires out. That only works against 1 though as on realistic, you are dead if they have multiple cars shooting at you.Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
Since then I've done a lot better on hacks. People seem to enjoy attacking me as they hack me when I find them. Very weird thing.
I took nmain's tip and paused the game at one point and saw the city moving around. I had a gut feeling someone was tailing me. Something just didn't feel right. And lo and behold, someone was. So I waited till an NPC did something unusual in the area. Considering I had just taken down a criminal in an alley, it was odd to me that an NPC would casually walk down that same alley. Usually they end up running away afraid for their lives.
And it was the hacker. He tried to jump in a car that was parked in the alley, but I opened the door from the other side and pushed him out. Then I jumped out of the vehicle, chased him a few feet and he just stood still. Once he pulled out an automatic weapon, I shot him down with my gun. Now that I think about it, I realize he was toggling for his automatic rifle when he stood still against the wall.
One thing I can't seem to do (so I assume you can't) is take down a hacker with circle. Ran up to one who tried to hack me and cornered him but he ended up disappearing because he shot at me before I could take him out. I kept pressing circle and nothing happened. Whackness.
I did hack one guy who really had no clue where I was. I need to check because I think I recorded it. He kept running around cars looking for me and every time he ended up closer to me, I would drive away hitting several other cars. Yet somehow this never raised his suspicions! I did this for a good amount of time. Just driving back and forth while he ran around in circle searching for me and never did he put two-and-two together that the guy driving his car back and forth, hitting other vehicles, was the hacker.
I guess he just thought I was a crazy NPC trying to get out of a car jam.Last edited by CMH; 06-01-2014, 08:07 PM."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Re: Watch Dogs
Kinda regretting buying this game and the season pass. After about 5/6 hours with the game it sits while I play MLB The show. I think I'd rather play GTAV again.Playstation Network:That70s_Gamer
