As much as I loved ME3, the journal was absolutely atrocious. It's like they changed the journal up just for the sake of changing it up. I hated having no idea if I had completed a mission until I hit the Citadel and opened the area map to see if I could go to the NPC who gave me the quest.

I'm really tempted to start all the way back through on the PS3 now as well. Not for lack of other games, as i'll be busy playing Black Ops 2 for the foreseeable future, and I plan on mixing in Far Cry 3 as well. But there is definitely an allure to starting a character from scratch and playing all the way through again.

GREAT game already. Having to make sense of how to upgrade my weapon, not use too much medi-gel, etc. It's all quite different from ME2, so it's taking me longer to adjust than I thought. But worth the effort!

Open for advice on ME1

Heat Sinks/frictionless materials are the upgrades to look out for. Then keep your eye out for Recoil Reductions. Once you upgrade those, nothing is more satisfying then customizing your weapon to endlessly fire without overheating.

I know people loved traveling to other planet surfaces, but man was that thing one of the worst vehicles in a video game ever.

I didn't mind the Mako so much as I did the terrain. If they put you on some nice smooth terrain then it would be fine. The problem was when they threw you on the rockiest and most jagged terrain they could think of.

I feel like Shephard needs an armor upgrade more than anything from the start. But the ones I want are six figures ... how do you make that kind of money??

Once you get to the midway point or further you can sell so much stuff. Especially if you pick your two squadmates and stick with them. Just make sure they have the best stuff you have found and sell everything else. From missions, to selling everything, to killing everything, the money comes easy later in the game.

So i picked this up on this weekend & when i was waiting for the game to do the hard drive install I fell asleep... Haha It was a long day yesterday.

So i really got to play it this time for a few hours, first time ever & Im impressed with the graphics for a 5 year old game. Plays pretty smooth so far too.

My whole approach as well as feel for Mass Effect is totally different now that I am playing the original game.

So awesome. So many plot holes for me and story lines being connected. I feel much more emotionally invested this time around.

I don't remember much from Mass Effect 1 other than what the characters are saying about Shephard's old mission... I played it probably junior year of high school. I'm now a junior in college and am only finishing up the second Mass Effect now. Hopefully by the end of my break I will have the 3rd one finished as well! Although, I'm still not sure whether or not to invest my game in the third one or buy the Ezio's Trilogy installment of the Assassin's Creed games... Or whether or not to buy Skyrim instead. Ahhh I wish there was more time in a day!

I just finished Mass Effect 2... Now I'm just wondering if I start Mass Effect 3 without exporting this save (I want to play as a Vanguard instead of an Adept), what choices will the default Shephard have made?

In this save, I followed the Miranda romance storyline and chose Thane to die (because he was the only one I was not able to make loyal on my team lol)
