White Orchard is more about becoming acquainted with the game play and mechanics moreso than being griped and reeled in by the story.

If the Bloody Baron quest-line doesn't move you then you should skip the rest of the game.

Don't lie to yourself. You know looking like court jester Geralt was half the fun.

Man, that **** was the worse lol. Started sacrificing armor points for the sake of matching.

Me too. For $25 it is a steal regardless. I know it is good. I hope I get into it as well. Sometimes games don't connect for whatever reason, but ill definitely give this more time.

Ill definitely give it more time and see if things immerse me. I know so many people love this game that I have to see why.
You definitely need to give the game more time as White Orchard is just the prologue.

              How bloody is this game?

I told a co-worker I had picked it up (I haven't started it yet) and he said he was going to get it for his wife, but she was afraid it would be too bloody for her.

Some of the combat finishers are pretty insane, but I believe you can turn those off as most of them were free DLC.

They include things such as decapitation, cutting off limbs, slicing off torsos, etc. Not a lot of "blood," but the gore is certainly there.

I made the trek up to Novigrad. I had forgotten how it felt to come into a city and immediately fall into the middle of a mountain of ****. The game does an amazing job of pulling you into the city's struggles and making it somewhat personal. I have to say each introduction of the 3 major quest-lines are all memorable and enticing for entirely different reasons.

Can't wait till my second play through. Now that the Witcher 2 is coming to backwards compatibility, I will 2 first then jump back into 3.

Took the plunge and purchased this digitally through the PSN store at 20$. I have all these games and no time to play them, but I still continue to hit the proceed to checkout button. I still have Mad Max in the shrink wrap lol and I think I have a problem...

Going on the quests for Witcher Sets is worth it just for the fact that everything matches.

Kinda stinks that some pieces of armor and weapons you have to wait to use because you're not a high enough level, but I guess that's just motivation to keep moving forward lol.
