Now with the competent glitch this game is turning into a train wreck. It's almost comical and they are going to need a miracle to save it at this point. It's basically just a free for all and getting to the point where if they are going to punish glitchers/exploiters they are going to have to punish the entire player base.

I assume that is supposed to be component glitch? That's not a glitch, that's using a third party program to manipulate network traffic.

The problem with the glitches are while they get you better gear, they are terribly boring. Great, you did a really boring activity that fast forwarded you in the game and now you have nothing to do.

I glitched one night and pretty much fell asleep doing do. From that point t on I've been progressing normally and it is much more enjoyable.

It's equal parts the developers fault for letting these bugs exist and the players fault for focusing on less fun activities simply to power level.

Seen a specialty item drop from a boss in DZ but it was a nomad's backpack

Is it me or has the update been a total failure? Theres no more enthusiasm about this game and even the fanboy that was attacking me when I criticized the game is gone.

They need to save it before people move on

Seems like that is only a PC problem though. I tried to do it last night and on console you can't switch weapons fast enough.

Agree with this 100% I saw some friends were playing the incursion two days ago, joined on one of them only to see they were doing the new glitch, my heart sank. It was so, so boring. I finished it out only because no one else was on and I had nothing better to do with the time while I was on this con-call.

Looking forward to them fixing most of this ****, and getting to play the game legit with folks.

They just need to fix the damn loot drops in this game like yesterday.

Apparently with the competent glitch you can down the APC in like 3 shots.

There was a video I saw yesterday Burns this guy did it with two shots from a classic M1A with the explosive rounds he was doing 142+ million in damage to the APC per shot.

It can be done on console. You switch weapons in the inventory screen not with triangle.

Limiting the best gear to a 1 time a week thing is one of the worst decisions ever. Its a lazy and cheap way to increase the grind.

Even if incursions started off without any glitches it still would of failed because of this idea alone.

But is it that much different than say a raid in Destiny. You have 4 or 5 loot drop CPs but you can only get them once a week.

Well not saying Destiny had the smartest loot system in place to begin with.

The problem is there is no sense of progression without exploiting. This is a loot based game that drops zero loot. Massive was clear that the best gear would drop from enemies and not from crafting. So they nerfed crafting so it wasn't such an enticing way to gear up. However, we should not worry for enemies will drop the best gear in the game world.

In reality, they nerfed crafting to require a ridiculous amount of mats to craft one piece of gear. The DZ named bosses only drop GS163 and if lucky GS182 gear with **** rolls. So once again the only way to acquire decent gear is via crafting. So the only other ways to get decent gear is via grinding the same route in the DZ for the millionth time for these mats, or the Incursion. Sadly the Incursion is not a raid but a poorly made horde mode which lacks the most minimal QA to the point where a new exploit pops up every day. So even if you grind this unbelievably lazy excuse for an endgame there is still a weekly lockout to acquire GS240.

You can't blame people to crave progression in a loot based game. Unfortunately exploiting the game is far more fun than playing the content. The matter gets worse when the only way to get mats is in the DZ which is being roamed with squads that have the best loot in game due to said exploits. You either exploit or die in this game.

And there's already another incursion glitch for the new patch that just came out hours ago. What a joke.

It's too deep into the culture of the game to change now. Finding/using exploits is just how you have fun playing that game now. Because the loot isn't the reason anymore.
