I reached LVL 10 tonight. Still haven't messed with the DZ yet. Probably will this weekend. Loving this game still. So much to do, and if you can get in a group it's glorious.

How are heroic levels determined? Did the MSG mission, everything was 17-18 and my group was 15-17. Are there tiers of hard so I can queue for any of them?

Let me know if you want some help! I was in a group with Shando earlier tonight. Just by doing two missions and maybe a dozen side missions/encounters, I've shot up 4 levels in just three hours. Just hit level 19.

So I'm game for grouping up, running some missions, banking some credits so I can buy some sweet high level, high tier weapons and gear, and keeping my climb toward 30 going. We'll also get you some levels real fast.

This is the 1st game I ever played where playing with randoms isn't bad at all. Well at least not on the PC version anyway. Words wasn't needed, people just instantly revived each other when somebody was wounded. Complete the mission and boom, we all go our separate ways to do what we want to do. For me I like leveling up the base. I quite enjoy games where you have base to level up.

And I truly love a game where you can physically see your base being leveled up. Makes it more realistic and rewarding. Kind of like to immerse myself into the world and think hmmm, do I want heat in this place or do I want some armed guards outside protecting the place. Which is more important right now.

This game was well thought out and well written. The level of detail they put into the side missions, encounters and base building is just awesome. I just wish you could control a team of AI squad mates though. Or at least let me send people off on missions for stuff I need. That would have been cool and would have added another level of strategy and micro management to the game.

                    Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)

Man, this game really makes you appreciate good gun drops. Nothing feels better than hitting the point where your guns are starting to feel like pea shooters, and then you get something FAR better to drop. I was running with a level 10 ACR that I bought a couple days ago, and it did me well until about level 13. I started to notice it was taking quite a while to down enemies with it. Managed to snag a level 13 ACR soon after, switched my mods over, and it completely changed how aggressive I could play. I'm about at that point again now that I've hit level 16, so I'll be checking the vendors this morning and hoping for some good drops.

This game is absolutely amazing, but man, trying to decide what skills to use is killing me. I love all of them so far. The healing skills are by far the most helpful when I'm running solo, but I'll be damned if I'm not having a BLAST using the flamethrower turret. Problem is, I'm about to unlock the seeker mine as well, and smart cover has been hugely helpful in a few missions as well. The RPG nature of this title can not be understated, as trying to mix and match a bit of everything is fine and dandy for side missions and the like, but when me and my buddy have jacked the difficulty of main missions up to hard, we've had to be much smarter in what loadouts and skills we use.

Lol. Don't feel bad man, I'm at level 6, about six hours in. I have no clue how people have the time in their lives to be 15, 20, 30 hours in already. Between work, the gym, and then just being married, I'm lucky to get in an hour a day.

                          Re: The Division (Xbone/PS4/PC)

After rolling with Shando for a couple hours, during which we completed a couple main missions and some side missions, I hit level 20 last night. Jumped over 5 levels in a single night. Doing the Time Square and the Amheart's Apartment missions were HUGE EXP gainers. Jumped over a level and a half each mission. Throw in some encounters and side missions and I was flying through the levels.

Also spent a fortune (probably over 100,000 credits alone last night) buying updated gear (all my gear and weapons are level 19 or level 20) and then recalibrating certain parts of the gear to maximize the stats I want affected by the gear. Recalibration is an entirely other addiction within the addiction that is The Division. I blew through 50,000+ credits in less than 15 minutes last night recalibrating gear. That is going to be a HUGE credit drainer for me going forward from here, I can already tell.

Official in-game time, I was at 1 day, 5 hours when I got online last night, I can only guess since I already turned my Xbox One off, but probably at 1 day 14-15 hours now. I still have yet to step foot once inside the Dark Zone, and only just entered the Flatiron District and Gramercy. Still have half the map to explore yet.

                          Damn this game is addicting!

Let me know if you want some help! Like I told bkrich, just hit me up and I'll join your group and help you out with missions and anything else.

With my super tank and healing station ability, I can keep you alive and in the fight and even draw fire from enemies while you take shots at them while they're distracted.

I have no problem at all going back through some of the earlier missions. Hell, even after reaching level 20 tonight, I went through Madison Field Hospital on Hard difficulty for the hell of it so I could get some blue gear or weapons to sell off for easy credits.

So I'll go through any mission with you, whether it's the final mission of the game or the very first one, makes no difference to me. They're all fun to run through!
