OMG is all I can say right now. Will post pics soon of my beginnings. That feeling when you first leave your original planet and head to space is indescribable

I do think at some point down the road they are going to add in some sort of co-op functionality. Even if it's just super basic and simple. I see a lot of people asking for it already

        Re: No Man's Sky

How long before the first reddit thread or Kotaku article comes up about two rl friends finding each other in game?

I realize that is highly improbable, almost impossible even.

Yet somehow I feel that someone is going to find a way to accomplish it.

Especially now, didn't they add in a way to scan specifically for areas already disordered by people or something like that?

From someone who watchedany streams before buying, it's a totally different feeling when you are playing yourself. Amazing

The first time I flew off the planet and realized how big it is and how far away everything is, my jaw dropped.

The scale is easily the most impressive thing about the game for me. Everyone talked about it, but it didn't really set in until I started playing.

About to leave the office, grab lunch and head home. Probably will be on in a hour to give this a go. I can stream if interested. Not sure how enjoyable of a stream it will be though.

Just came home from Best Buy with my physical copy. Downloading update file now.

I got there right at opening (10:00 AM), and there were three people in front of me already picking up their pre-order copies. By the time I left, there were two more people behind me. I felt like such a nerd, I almost wanted to be there for a different reason haha.

At least now I'll be as far away from Earth as I've ever known.

                                Okay, first complaint:

NMS does not work well with Remote Play because it has front touch screen controls instead of rear touch pad controls.

This means I can only fire by pressing the top right of the screen. Murray, how do I contact you to patch in a new RP control scheme??
