Yeah, you do NOT wanna take those without an escape plan in mind. Learned that lesson well from the older version of the game.

My temporary base I built to assist with grabbing eggs is still showing up in my teleport options and it’s annoying me.

When you're done, access the base computer again and it'll give you an option to delete the base. Helps to clean up the "non-bases" that you put down for markers at whispering eggs, drop pods or other significant locations.

I still haven't given this another try yet, but I just wanted to pop in and say that I've had so much joy just looking at pictures that are posted on the No Man's Sky sub-reddit. The visuals in this game can be so amazing.

Yeah I did that. It still shows up when I go to teleport. I’m gonna try heading there tonight. I’m hoping it’s just because I didn’t pick up the base computer.

Unfortunately my base computer was already picked up. As good as that method is I won’t be using it until that’s fixed. I don’t want 30 random bases showing up when I use my teleporter.

Yeah, I was going to say, when you delete the base, it should automatically remove and destroy the base computer.

The fact that you're using the teleporter must be why I haven't experienced this. I still fly my ship back and forth from planet to planet and to/from the space station rather than use the teleporter, so I haven't had the chance to experience that issue.

So you warp every time you need to get to a planet in another system?

Another system? 15 hours into my current save, I'm still in my starting system, lol. I have the warp drive, but I keep finding so many ancient ruins, whispering eggs, drop pods and a lot more stuff.

It probably helps that of the four planets in the system, they're boiling, freezing, corrosive and supercritical (radioactive). So three of the four planets are very conducive to having whispering eggs and other good stuff on them.

I've spent so much time mining resources and finding stuff to collect over those 15 hours, I've only mostly explored the corrosive and supercritical planets, heavily explored the boiling planet and only landed on the frozen planet for a whole 5 minutes, otherwise it is 99% unexplored.

I do have to make my first system jump soon, as I have 6 or 7 drop pods waiting for me to create antimatter to repair the final damaged section on each.

This game is so relaxing. It took me about a half hour to get a grip on what I was supposed to do, but I found the game very enjoyable after that. I can't compare it to what it was at launch, but I'm not mad at this purchase at all. This is quite the change of pace from stuff I normally play.

That’s why this game is so great. You can just do whatever you want. I was just exploring at first but then I decided to start following missions. I’m glad I did because you unlock a ton of stuff. I feel like I’d get no where if I just explored each plant 100 percent.

This large refiner is sooooo good. I was having trouble getting uranium in bulk. Couldn’t find metal fingers and those planets Kinda suck. I just cooked some up using phosphorus and ferrite dust.

Newest Xbox update has a game killing bug where if you quit the game wrong you can essentially corrupt your save file and ruin it. A lot of people are mad because they invested tons of time and lost everything. Just be wary. The Xboxone subreddit has details. Key thing is that if you go to load your game and it says you have played thousands of hours or more - do not open that save and wait for a patch.

Just a little more info regarding this latest bug discovered and posted on reddit. PC players have received the fix. Console players will need to wait.

The bug dominated No Man's Sky's subreddit r/NoMansSkyTheGame late Sunday night after Redditor Kanosei shared a lengthy overview about the bug. His post received over 1,900 upvotes and several confirmations from other players.

According to that post, after players sent frigates out onto an expedition, the game would "start to replicate a line of code within your save file." That code would continue repeating itself until the player's save file hit 8mb, after which the code would save over additional data necessary to reload a game. That would essentially corrupt save files, but players wouldn't be aware of the issue until exiting out of No Man's Sky.

<b>"TLR; if you haven't done any expeditions yet, then don't," Kanosei wrote. "Don't even talk to the expedition dude just in case. If you HAVE done expeditions, suck it up and read the post to help protect yourself."</b>

In an explanation pinned to No Man's Sky's General Discussion board on Steam, Hello Games revealed the save data bug arose after "a certain pattern of loading and reloading within a limited timeframe" made save files unloadable. Hello Games announced that the issue happened "under very specific circumstances" linked to freighter expedition, which means it probably did not affect all players who used the feature.

Does anyone know how to trade Units with another player in your party?
