Every video I click on is down before I get to watch it. No biggie though, thanks for the impressions!

Its too bad, because that 26 min clip of his starting planet is honestly the most unintentionally awesome teaser clips they could have shown IMO. Not sure the devs themselves could have put together a better 26 minutes that teases all aspects of the game without spoiling anything major.

Honestly, considering the type of game this is, I think the graphics are more than fine. It looks good to me. I would rather have fluidity than SUPERHIGHREZZZZZZZZZ everything that chugs and stutters.

The trailers definitely don't do the best job at showing off the game. I think that's why so many people are clamoring to see the game played unedited.

What caused your hype to go down though? You said what you described that you didn't feel that way about it.

The repetitive resource mining.

I thought it would be a bit more slighted towards the exploration aspect. Which I'm sure there'll be plenty of, but the mining is a bit much for me (the amount required).

I'm not knocking the game at all, it's just that in my eyes it may not be worthy of my 60 bucks for what it offers. I'm quite aware there are people that are so pumped for it that if it was 100 bucks they'd still buy it & get their money's worth.

All that being said I still may buy it in the end. But I'm not as sure as I once was.

Instead of game companies scouring the internet to take down early footage of games, Can't Sony and Microsoft have something in the consoles that won't play the game until the launch date?

Some people have legit review copies. I suppose they could give those review copies a special key that lets them play anyway but I also guess that's more effort than they want to put in to it.

They also might not hate all the publicity from a couple people getting it early as much as they pretend to. They do the takedowns and it stays at a few clips to build buzz, if the allowed it you'd have people streaming whole games (not in NMS) but in general.

I'm sorry but deleting the footage off the Internet and then complaining about it is stupid. Calling it a leak is being generous. Some place sold a copy early. Many of us buy early copies of Madden and The Show every year.

Instead of complaining about something so ridiculous on Twitter maybe Sean can do us a solid and tell us what's going on with the PC release date.

People have a choice in not reading and avoiding "spoilers".

I understand why Murray isn't happy about videos being posted. It's because No Man's Sky is one of those games that watching simply doesn't do the game justice nor does it give you the concept of what you're going to be doing. Watching people play the game by walking around and gathering resources isn't exactly exciting or fun to watch but if you're the one playing the game, then I would assume that it is.

In summary, No Man's Sky is a game that needs to be played, not watched.

The footage today IMO was a better video than the 21 minutes they showed to IGN a few months ago. That video had way more spoilers than this video did, IMO. I really think the response has been a tad bit silly by Sean, HG, and the Reddit mods. Just my opinion.

I have watched the video beginning to end 4x. I seriously can't wait to dive in and start digging my own path across the universe.

This has really been one of the stranger releases.
