To be fair, I don't get a lot of gaming time in during the day. I've probably played for just over 3 hours.

      Re: No Man's Sky

Had an interesting moment last night, on a planet and saw what pretty much looked like an aquatic water buffalo with a camel hump (fully swimming around underwater). But that wasn't even the most interesting part, saw one in a puddle near the water, head down *** in the air, spinning in place like a ballerina. I saved video, I'll have to edit and post that later.

Is there a way to see all the blueprints you have without having an empty spot to place them? I've seen people complain about not having the hyper drive and it caused them issues later on in the game because couldn't add it to future ships. I know I swapped out for the preorder ship on my moon on my trek for it, but not sure if I got it first or not.

You need an empty slot on the ship to bring up the crafting menu for it. Otherwise you can't see any blueprints/technologies you can craft.

Bugged out of work way early.....about to log in and explore more. I am hooked on the game.

Hopefully they will add a proper inventory/blueprint list later on via a patch, not a fan of how stuff is hidden ATM

The issue is if you don't have an open spots, your crafted item will have no where to go.

But I do agree there should be a way to see what can be crafted.

That I get, I don't want to craft it, just want to see an inventory of the blue prints I have. Basically, if I don't have an open spot, I don't know to clear a spot to make something that could be better.

                    Re: No Man's Sky

I've watched a couple streams of this game. Perhaps I watched the wrong stream but it appears to me you walk or float around a planet melting things with a ray gun and converting them into elements. Then you get into your space ship, fly to another planet, and do the same.

I saw one space combat but it didn't appear to be very deep.

Is that a valid perception of the game? If not, what am I missing?

Yeah, I didn't upgrade my multitool for a long time for this very reason, didn't know I could craft in the scanning tool and replacements didn't have them.

Speaking of that, if you dismantle something there, do you get the resources back or just gone? That's one of my other reasons I would like to know what I have to see if I have something better to craft. Don't want to dismantle something and then not be able to get it back.

Found my first farm. Nothing like you gold planet luckies.

Best friend status with the Gek so that gives three dialog options when talking to one at an outpost. The top option is usually for them to give you something like units or fuel, which is Carbon or isotopes, which also can be Carbon. The bottom option is teach word a lot of times. All it takes is to give them 20 carbon to get the dialog options and since I can replace that with the top option I can just sit here forever and learn one word at a time.

I'll be fluent in no time! :goggle:

It only brings up makers I've yet to discover, maybe if I'm just outside of the planet maybe.

I wish we could have a map of the planet, seems odd to leave that out.

In doing so, you're trying to reach the center of the universe.

Correct it doesn't sound so beautiful, but it's great when you're really pushing for using resources to get resources, etc.

I have no idea how somebody beat this game in 25-30 hours. I may spend that time on this one planet alone.
