I am really loving the Android PipBoy app!! Used it on my tablet last night for the first time. Seems like you can control things in game in real time with just a slight delay......for example using a Stimpack, choosing a weapon, changing the radio station and using the map to show where you are without having to access the map in game. I'm sure it does much more than what I mentioned above. Pretty cool second screen functionality!!

Is the Institute quest line the final part of the main story? Just trying to figure out if I should do BOS and Railroad side quests or hop into it. I feel like it will make me choose between factions.

I'd like to know this as well BOS asked me to join but I didn't because I'm worried that it would end the minutemen quests and stop me from having options with railroad who I haven't even met yet.

Ugh. I joined BOS first opportunity I had. Hope I didn't screw anything up. I don't think it messed with the Minutemen quest though. I continued that after I joined them.

You don't hit a point of no return for simply joining a faction. I think there are prompts that warn you when you're doing something big enough to upset another group.

You will get a pop up box when you get to a point where a faction will turn on you.

He wasn't my companion at the time. He was forced out of that role by the mission. I just had to check all my settlements and he was at one in the doghouse. It just wasn't the one I usually send him too.

As long as you haven't specifically sent him somewhere else then just build a dog house at Red Rocket and he will be in the dog house.

You won't have any trouble with the box when the time arrives, trust me. Without getting into too much detail, there's a point where you start a mission and the game actually stops and a popup says "continuing will make you an enemy of the BoS/Institute/Railroad" and you have to select continue. It's not something that you're going to miss.

Any ideas on why all of my planted food at Sanctuary would stop producing product? I used to be able to walk up to each and harvest it myself, but the past 2 days nothing seems to grow. I see people working on the plants and in the workshop it shows that everything is assigned to settlers when I hover my cursor over them, the first I have seen this.

I thought I remembered reading the plants bear their fruit towards the end of the day. If you don't pick them your settlers will and the extra will go in your bench. Maybe you've just checked them at the wrong time of day?

Anything I place on a shelf or table is messed up next time I go back to that place. Hopefully they fix this. I've seen videos with fully decorated settlements. No idea how they get stuff to stay in the right place.

Edit: and it's not even from settlers moving them. I was collecting bowling pins and when I got back just the top is showing and the rest is buried in the shelf.

Are we able to have more than one character going in FO4?? I'm guessing NO, but want to make sure. Would love to start a new character with a build I'm mulling over, but don't want to lose my current progress.

I think you can...just create a new save and not overwrite the others.

Theres a characters option in the save and load area so my guess is each character has thier own set of saves.
