Have you guys done the Eventide Island shrine yet? That was definitely my favorite so far.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch/WiiU)
Haha, yeah... sometimes it is annoying too lol. Like earlier this week I trekked all the way across the Gerudo desert, getting smashed by a giant mini-boss, to get to a shrine that I couldn't enter until I went all the way back and did a quest. There are quite a few shrines that require quests to get them to appear, those are most of the ones I have left because I haven't come across them yet.Spoilerwas triggered by someone at a stable marveling at a painting and wondering at what spot the painting was made. So I thought, "okay, I just need to go find the spot the painting was made. If I examine the painting, there's a shrine to the left, the stable is in the distance off to the right, the painting was clearly made from an elevated angle...." I then wasted two hours traveling to the spot I thought was correct, then heading back to the stable to check the painting, heading back out again, back to the stable to recheck the painting, etc. Once I realized that all I had to do was go to the shrine, and didn't have to worry about the exact location where the painting had been painted, I felt like an idiot, since I had found the shrine and marked it on my map prior to entering the stable in the first place. FACEPALM
The hardest shrine quest for me, though, wasSpoilerthe one where you had to avoid stepping on the flowers surrounding the shrine. Not because it was difficult, but because I found the woman watching the flowers to be extremely annoying and had to resist the urge to just light all the flowers on fire to spite her.Comment

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch/WiiU)
It's been crazy difficult, due to my lack of weapons. Had I have known this bit then I could have beaten Ganon. I ventured into the castle on a whim, and ended up getting pretty far just testing my skills. Ended up breaking all of my weapons, so I resulted to bombs, lol. This'll help tremendously.Twitter - WTF_OS

I need to hunt down seeds. My 8 seeds are obviously not helping. I do have The maracas but no clue where the guy is that needs them. Will keep hunting lol

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch/WiiU)
I nearly avoided the guy because he looks like a giant tree or enemy. From a distance it caught my eye. It's happened quite a bit.
I've seen some strange things in the distance. Things I didn't know were in the game. Things that worry me.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch/WiiU)
Yes I think there are like 42 of them that are like that and they are really cool but some of them are hard. I think I have only done like 16 of those ones. I think they are better then the regular ones. Side note/question. Does any one know how many side missions the game has? I think I have unlocked like 72 of them and only beaten like 20-25 but I am wondering if I have at least unlocked all the side mission or if there are some I have yet to even find.Comment

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch/WiiU)
You talking about survival island? If you are then yes I have. Has everyone done all 3 mazes by the way? I have done 2 but one I cant figure out how to get to the shrine. Spent like 3 hours maybe more going in circles and climbing and trying ever thing I could think of but couldn't figure out the maze.Comment

Any one see this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiayNKpsAdQ
Saw this a few days ago. One of the things I love about when Zelda games come out is hearing different Zelda songs done in different ways.Comment

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch/WiiU)
Took on Lynels tonight for the first time. The red Lynel near zora domain was actually pretty easy, but then the silver Lynel I went against was tough. Left some red x's on the map but I eventually figured out a strategy and killed him. Going to go after the one in the colesium tomorrow.Last edited by aukevin; 04-27-2017, 10:04 AM.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch/WiiU)
I really think this game is going to sale around 10 million maybe even more.
Nintendo shared some key statistics about Switch and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild as part of its financial results today. First, total hardware shipments for Switch stands at 2.74 million worldwide. The system has also moved 5.46 million software units. Switch generated the most sales in the Americas with 1.2 million units. Next up was Europe at...
Considering the game is already at all most 4 million when you consider the fact that not a lot of people ever got the wii u and when you consider that switch is still almost impossible to find and yet Zelda is at almost 4 million already I think this shows that Zelda is going to do some really big numbers.Comment
