It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine. -

I really love this game but the lack of frequency of new content has made the game stale to me.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.

Re: Overwatch
I had really hoped they would provide more PvE stuff like Junkensteins revenge.

Re: Overwatch
Yeah with all the other new games out recently and just the lack of new content has me losing interest. The only reason I still play the game at all is because I have real life friends who are often on.
The game needs more frequent characters and more game modes. Preferably something like junkenstein revenge, but also something other than assault, hybrid and payload would help. I don't count the Ctf they added because it was so terribly implemented.Last edited by KSUowls; 04-03-2017, 08:59 PM.Comment

Yes, exactly.
On top of that, I do feel like maybe a sense of something "greater" to be grinding toward other than a loot box every level, and points for a gold gun.
When the game launched I asked a question on here regarding OW potentially including an economy system similar to that of Team Fortress 2. At the time no one really seemed on board but I gotta double down on suggesting that maybe some more "carrots to dangle" could go a long way.
Just thinking out loud

Re: Overwatch
Ive found the game become really stale. There's not much variety in my game sessions. It's pretty much the same Everytime I play for every one good game with decent teammates there is another one or two games that is either harder than it should be or so freaking frustrating on a team with dead mutes or *******s that Hanzo or widow Maker or just utterly useless.
I feel like the game is more about the luck of the draw of your teammates than individual skill. Yes it's a team game but solely basing rank points on win or loss of game despite you're performance / role is just a waste of time.
Im pretty much done after having bought and playing planet unknowns Battlegrounds. I may keep playing sporadically but I guarantee once quake beta/quake comes out then I might as well uninstall ow. I've pretty much experienced everything the game has to offer and I could care less about loot boxes or gold guns to care about grinding

Re: Overwatch
Less duplicate loot boxes would also help I think. I'm almost level 300 and even bought 50 loot boxes (not proud of that) during the Christmas event. I get all 3 arcade loot boxes each week, and I've also spent of ton of in-game credits buying limited time items. Despite all of this I am still so far away from even having a single character with all of any 1 item (skins, emotes, etc).
I realize that Blizzard needs to create additional revenue streams and that is done with the loot boxes, but the current system is just way too grindy. At my level I'm happy to get 1 non-unique item in any lootbox (the math seems odd given the sheer number of items), and the event special lootboxes feel almost punitive. Everything is 3x as expensive, and the rewards you get for duplicates (which happen with surprising frequency) are just harsh. I think I got 5 legendary zenyatta christmas skins. The first one was great, the other 4 netted me 1k credits which wasn't enough to buy a single other legendary event skin.Comment

Re: Overwatch
I'm still really enjoying OW. It's actually the only game I've played for months. I've been trying new characters lately and trying to master them as best I can. Sometimes I need to in order to keep the experience fresh.
I do agree that a PvE mode would be very welcomed. There was a teaser today for an event on April 11 that is rumored to have a PvE event.
They really need to add more than golden guns as rewards for competitive point. They've lost their luster.SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Re: Overwatch
It doesn't help that Orisa has no unique abilities...she is new content but nothing about her feels new.
Her voice sounds like Sombra.
Her ultimate is like a super Ana.
Her abilities is a mix of Reinhardt, Zarya and Bastian.
I think they missed the boat entirely with this one.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.

Re: Overwatch
I don't have quite the same hate for Orisa as you do. I don't like that she isn't a Reinhardt replacement as many thought she would be though. Her barrier falls way too fast, and with her lack of mobility and huge hitbox she feels more like a 200HP hero. I feel like to get good use out of her I need a good Reinhardt, and honestly I can probably get better value out of a number of other heroes with the same strategy. My time invested in this game has drastically fallen over the last few weeks so maybe she feels different in the hands of people putting time in with her, but she feels like she needs a boost.
Which is another big complaint I have about this game to this point. Balancing new characters is just way too slow. I recognize that balancing in this game is very difficult with all the variables, but it shouldn't take 4 months to get Sombra into a good spot. I never bothered playing her when she was actually new because I could get better value out of Tracer or a true DPS, and now that she's finally playable she doesn't really feel new anymore.Comment

I don't find the game stale, but I am not playing it as much either. I've taken breaks since release because of other games, but when I hop on, I have a lot of fun.Comment

Re: Overwatch
On PS4...
Anybody else experiencing small lag spikes throughout the match? It's like a 1 second lag when everybody is klumped together, making it impossible to be any sorts of good with any player.
It's been happening with greater frequency the past 2-3 weeks...my connection is around 40 mbps so it can't be that. I don't get it.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.

Browsing the Blizzard forums, it appears to be pinpointed to the recent PS4 update. Sony launched another update yesterday to fix "performance issues"...hopefully this addresses my issue because otherwise, the game is literally unplayable.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
