Also, will the new Guitar Hero Live guitar work with Rock Band?

I don't see how it would, honestly. Unless they mapped the GRYBO buttons to the top three black and two of the bottom white buttons, it just doesn't seem feasible.

oK, that's what I thought as well..

So is the new Rock Band guitar worth getting if you already have the old guitars in workable condition?

Probably not, though I assume they have more weight and probably worked on the strutter... thing a bit. I just hope they didn't make it clicky like GH.

I'd worry a bit at how the older plastic instruments have aged, but know they're pretty durable otherwise.

Nah, they've said it's still not clicky. Supposedly a little more stiff, so you "feel" the stum, but I have no idea what that means or how it compares to RB2/3 guitars because anything's going to be a difference from the RB1 guitar I've been using.

The new DLC is always what I look forward to the most in Rock Band games. Hopefully we get some Pink Floyd.

I'm scheduled to get the game Friday. So I'm just happy to have that info.

A press guy who has been streaming said that he was told that the music store would be open on Oct 2nd or 3rd. Not sure if that means only in-game or across PSN/Xbox store in general. Would be nice to download DLC before official launch and everyone jumping on then.

Im really curious how this game is going to be received both publicly and from professional sites/companies.

After watching a stream for two songs, it literally looks the same.

Graphics/lighting barely looks better, let alone "Next Gen" including animations (especially the singer)

Granted, graphics are one of the least important things in these types of games so hopefully the Tour mode and fun factor is better than before.

That is confirmed for sure.

Although I do remember songs that had harmonies DIDNT have sing alongs in RB3, although Im not 100% positive on that one

Anyone know if you'll be able to use your old keyboard/piano on this one? I know there's not a keyboard part in this game, but wondering if you can use it as an extra "guitar". Thanks

Can't speak for XBox, but at least now the Playstation Store website and app are advanced enough to initiate and track downloads from them rather than having to go through the store on the console. I remember having to change PS3 and redownload hundreds of Rock Band songs, what a pain that was.
