The area surrounding Gastown looks like the Staten Island landfill, appropriately named in the game as "The Dump." No more camps. Whoa Deep Friah looks like a mix of Freddy Krueger and Mola Ram from IJ Temple of Doom. Really enjoying the somewhat environment change from the Great White.

Re: Mad Max
Can anyone tell me how to get into the Gutgash stronghold? I've got 40 hours into this game and I drive to this stronghold and nothing happens, no way to get in.
Also can't seem to get the 2nd convoy in this area to trigger either. This is the last thing I have to do before the territory is secure.Originally posted by ImTellinTimIf I lived in Waco, I would find you and kick you right in the nuts.Comment

Re: Mad Max
WOW, the missions in GasTown are bananas. As much as I want to tell you, how can I put pictures behind spoiler tags? I will let you all enjoy it when you get there. This game is just so much fun, a game for my collection.Last edited by noshun; 09-10-2015, 11:58 PM.NBA Live is the epitome of Cancel Culture..

Re: Mad Max
Do enemies respawn randomly once areas are cleared and can enemies take back areas that you've liberated? Trying to make sure because I'll have to trade this in if its a one and done type of game. I don't want to clear an area, then there's nothing left to do. I like to be able to play around when not actually doing game missions.Comment

As for enemies trying to take back areas, no they do not. A decent amount of upgrading your Magnum Opus is tied to lowering a region's threat level so if enemies were to keep respawning or take over a camp you liberated, that would screw around with the region's threat level.
As for the game being a one and done, yeah it is but it's so much fun to play that it's worth going through one and done twice.
I'm over 65 hours and have cleared out Jeet's and Gutgash's territories. Now, im in Pink Eye's territory and I died early on too. The enemies are tougher and the cars are better armored which makes them stronger and harder to take out.
Every camp has side stuff in it to complete. Optional stuff includes scrap, insignias, history relics, etc. Also, there's a lot of stuff scattered throughout the world and Pink Eye's territory added a legend encounter that requires you to go to all the catapults and destroy them. The explosions on them are even more insane.
Obviously, it's up to you though.Comment

Re: Mad Max
In general, the enemies don't respawn but if you go after a convoy and fall behind, die or go off the route, the cars that protect the main car will respawn. Also, I had a scavenging area in which I cleared out the enemies, a storm hit, other stuff happened and when I went back to the same scavenging area, the enemies were back. I was pissed because that area took me at least five attempts to beat.

Man this game especially near the end is so dang satisfying, this game is a big time sleeper. Reviews don't do this game any justice, you just have to play it for yourself. Lol just looked at my hours it says 8 days, 7hrs ish (habit of leaving 4 on all day.) RW level is just crazy at 128, Bios all say 100%. Weird thing I only made 1 arch car, and I think the mandatory one for a story mission but when I check I have them all collected. Only missing 2 cars, Crow Caller & Interceptor. The ride has been fun, Im at the very end...

Re: Mad Max
This is going to sound dumb but how do I know if I'm playing a story mission? I just go to areas and clean the threats out, snipers, camps, scarecrows. Built up Jeet's camp with the resources, etc. I've cleared out Jeet's area and only one convoy left in Gutgash before it's secure. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, says I've completed 4 story missions but I'm not sure how to tell what a story mission is.Originally posted by ImTellinTimIf I lived in Waco, I would find you and kick you right in the nuts.Comment

Re: Mad Max
Finally figured it out. I had upgraded my car too much. I ended up having to downgrade several things and Gutgash immediately opened up. Kept wondering why the green dots on my upgrades were on the lowest or second lowest upgrade when I had maxed out and was using several of them. Not sure why that design choice was made but OK. Should have allowed you to proceed with the story if you have unlocked the upgrade.Originally posted by ImTellinTimIf I lived in Waco, I would find you and kick you right in the nuts.Comment
