Just downloaded an update for but unsure what's in the patch.

Hello Wastelanders!

Patch 4 for Mad Max has been released today for PS4, Xbox One, and Win64/PC. A number of general fixes, including some issues with the map have been resolved. Support for the Steam Controller has been added with a number of other Win64 specific updates.

General Updates for All Platforms:

• Map improvements and fixes.
• Fixed a problem with a draw bridge's winch in Great Watcher.
• Fixed an instance where The Jaw's locks couldn't be destroyed.
• Fixed several issues involving projects in Strongholds
• Improved performance in several locations
• Corrected a couple of annoying softlock issues
• Corrected how Warcriers would suddenly stop doing their job if Max would leave the area and then come back without disposing of them.
• Fixed a camera problem in some instances
• Fixed an instance where Insignias wouldn't be accurately tracked after being destroyed.
• Polish of collision meshes against the certain terrain and objects
• Fixed a couple of persistent UI issues
• Corrected the momentary inability to use Fast Travel after certain Wasteland Missions.
• General bug fixes

I just made it to gas town after clearing out (some) of the areas. Still need to clear out the far left.

Magnum Opus is now a tank and all I need to do now are the V8 missions.

I know the complaint about the game being repetitive but what game isn't nowadays. This game keeps me busy and this is my second most played next to the witcher 3.

EVERY game is repetitive in some way, shape or form. It simply comes down to "are enjoying what you're doing in the game to keep doing it over and over"? For me in Mad Max, the answer was a hell yeah!!!

Mad Max was cool, but not the game where I could deal with the repeat. Now Shadow of Mordor on the other hand, I need a part 2 to that one.

Not me. I would easily prefer Mad Max 2 over Mordor 2. The nemesis system was excellent but even that after a while became repetitive. Solid 8/10 game for me but Mad Max is only one of three games this generation to hit my 9/10 or higher scale. Easily prefer the world, immersion, atmosphere, characters, car combat, melee combat and all the scavenging and exploration over Mordor by far. Mordor is mostly empty except for the Orcs but there's no real variety or anything. It's bland and dull. For being "just a desert", Mad Max has a lot more variety in it than Mordor.

To each his own though.

Does anyone know if you have to finish the races in order to level up?
I'm absolutely horrid when it comes to racing games and I'm no better in MM.

I've avoided all of them up to this point and it hasn't slowed me down from leveling up or opening missions.

Unfortunately there's a mission that involves racing. Like you I dodged all of them except for the first one.

But at least it's just the one.

I haven't completed a GTA game in forever simply because I can never win any of those friggin' races. I'm so terrible with that stuff.

Okay, another ignorant question.
What happens to your rewards?
I cleared out Jeet's territory and completed all the upgrades/projects.

I received a message saying that even if I'm not playing the game, as long as there is an internet connection I will be receiving scrap from the Survey Crew.

So I fire it up this morning and I get a message that I've obtained 500 scrap.
Yet, when I look in my HUD, it shows only 350.

Where is my reward scrap pieces?

I fast-traveled to Jeet's to see if I automatically picked up the scrap, but no go.
However, I didn't bother to go into the scrap room. I'll try that.
