Re: Mafia 3
anyone who says this is a must own is lieing. This game looks outdated with horrible shooting and gameplay mechanics and not very fun. Graphics on the PS4 are not very good. The only thing decent is how the story plays out and the cutscenes but everything else is awful. This is the worst mafia game in the series hands down.
You don't like it , fine but others are entitled to their opinion also.
Anywho...
I picked up my deluxe edition but haven't opened yet.
May do so tomorrow as I will have a few days off.
Going to wait a bit and see if any patches etc.. are planned for PS4 version soon...Joshua:

Re: Mafia 3
Come on dude, everyone likes and dislikes things differently. Saying someone is lying if they think it's a must own is pretty petty.

But hey this is a must own game right??? lol
Side Note: A patch will not help the boring gameplay/open world and just a unfished unpolished game.Last edited by Bigg Cee; 10-08-2016, 07:59 PM.Comment

Re: Mafia 3
I would honestly just hold off from opening your game. The game falls under the mad max category and when I say that I mean that if you wait for a few patches to drop your gameplay experience will probably be better then a launch day user. There are a few issues that need patching and a few key glitches that will freeze the game or cause screen tearing and frame rate drops. Also the AI needs a patch because these are some of the most dumb AI I have ever seen.
But hey this is a must own game right??? lol
And yeah if someone has a great time despite the issues why can't it be a must own for them?
I wouldn't hold my breath about being a moderator if I was you....

Re: Mafia 3
Got the deluxe for 32.00 which includes season pass. So as long as I get some enjoyment out of it , it's well worth it.

Re: Mafia 3
At the very least, it makes cars feel heavier. I can't tell you more than that, but I've used simulation since I began Mafia II so many years ago. I think that's why these Mafia games have some of my favorite driving physics.Comment

Re: Mafia 3
Traded it in to Best Buy. Great characters, great story, great music, but just an awful game. It's like the spent all their time on the cutscenes and then realized they had a short time to do everything else. Other than the worst ai I've seen in a major title and buggy gameplay, it just got repetitive. Even unfinished games like the saboteur and sleeping dogs kept the fun factor going til the end. After being tricked by the cleverly manipulated hyped videos, pretty let down by it. Glad others are enjoying it. At least bf1 and mw1 are up.Comment

Re: Mafia 3
He makes some good points, but I'm also not far enough in the game to be let down my the missions and side stuff yet. Also, I'm easy to please when it comes to my video games. So for some people who can't stand Mafia3, so far I've been happy.Comment

Re: Mafia 3
I noticed the sky very early on in the game. Just like I noticed the very odd day and night cycle. Anyway last night I was on the far side of the map, sneaking around and I heard a group of women NPCs talk about Star Trek and how they been watching it.Comment
