Re: Days Gone
Oh my bad. If I missed that part of what you said then that's my bad. And yes I disposed of every horde so maybe that's why I was able to get to level 3 trust at each camp.Comment

Re: Days Gone
I've read if you die a bunch of times doing the main mission hordes, the game will ask you if you want to skip and then the horde dies on the spot.... Is that true for main missions and doing hordes in the open world?
If true, then I'll take on hordes.Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

As far as for the hordes in the open world, I don't know.

Re: Days Gone
I bought Days Gone back around Thanksgiving on sale, along with Detroit: Become Human, Beyond Two Souls and Crash Bandicoot. I played the intro mission in Days Gone and literally put the game down. It's not that the game was bad or anything, I just had a lot of gaming on my plate. Fast forward to February and I have been lost in this world. I just beat the game and I loved every second of it.
Every game looks good on these consoles. Games like Resident Evil 2 (and I'm sure 3) does atmosphere better. But there is something unnerving about being on screen with dozens of zombies. It's not scary but it's unsettling. That's a new experience for me in gaming and that's what I love. I hope they are able to push it further with the next gen.
The story really grabbed me and I felt like I was in a hostile world. I was always checking for bandit traps on the open road and I always stopped for fuel, even after upgrading my tank. I was always on edge. I like where the story is and where its set up to go.
There were some technical issues. The game froze up on me about 5 or 6 times, thankfully it never corrupted anything. The game also glitched on one of those motorcycle chase bounties, it actually worked out to my benefit because the guy just froze and it allowed me to take him down easily. There were some other things too like not being able to trigger the dialogue when completing a task for my bounty rewards with Tuck and Rikki. It was minor stuff in the grand scheme. I didn't complete one Horde in the main play-though (I let the game skip it for me to advance the story) but I'm going back now and taking a stab at it. It's a nice challenge. I love Days Gone now. Hopefully the sequel irons out the bugs, I just want a bigger more polished version of what we got with this game. Good job Sony and Bend.Comment

Re: Days Gone
Days Gone is the type of game that I think appeals to everyone maybe its not your favorite game of the year. However its really hard to play it and not enjoy it. I'm confident they learned a lot while making this game. This was by far the biggest project the team as ever done. Its a shame the version the reviewers played had so many bugs in it.

Re: Days Gone
God I hope so.
I really don’t want the reason I can’t finish the story is because I can’t beat the story hordes.
