Man I swear killing 3 or more Dark Elves on Normal difficulty is damn near impossible for me...been dealing with 4 of them for damn near a hour.

Use your shield and atreus arrows a lot. When you get blue arrows I like to spam them with Atreus, then grab enemies with r3 when they are stunned. Upgrade Atreus as much as possible and use him. Try to keep all the elves on screen or at least not directly behind you.

Just started the game on the hardest difficulty. I now completely understand Atreus going bananas on the first big troll, lol. I wanted to do the same.

I think the worst of the trials is easily the one where you have to kill 20 and not take any damage. But I just discovered that if you wear the travellers chest armour you can take one hit. Recommended for that trial.

I have played this entire game on Normal but after 30 minutes of failing against her this morning I may drop it. I don’t think I can beat her on Normal. I can’t seem to dodge or avoid her big hits and 3-4 of those wreck you. I have found the boulder in rage works a bit. Have to consider different runes maybe but I’m fully leveled up. My skills are too weak.

My God.

I couldnt imagine. I beat 3, but the 4th on up just destroy me. I can't even get to the one in Muselheim because of that kill 100 enemy trial. I'm playing on easy, too. I'm gonna have to grind and level up completely (I think I'm a 7) before continuing any further.

I beat her. Took me a while but I beat her.

So after a solid two hours of trying ([emoji23]) here's what helped me for those still working on her...

- Level all your gear up. Think I was an 8

- Just accept youre gonna get crushed for about the first 15 attempts. But its necessary because you need to pick up on her attacks and how to react appropriately

- If you see her hover in the air, have Atreus shoot her to stop that unblockable attack she does (that was really screwing me early on). So always have some arrows in the tank so you're ready

- Use your runic attacks as often as possible. I played around with basically all of them and ended up with both light runic attacks that have the highest stun but also the lowest cool down. For the heavy I used the one that sends an ice wave and for the blades the gift of appollo that gives you life back. I think that last one is what eventually won it for me....I used the wolves for Atreus.

- Also went into the fight with full rage. And equipped the rage resurrection stone.

That's basically it. I didn't even really need the resurrection stone at the end...I mean I did end up using it lol...but only because I kinda relaxed some seeing that my set up was working really well for me and that the round was going much easier than the previous ones.

I may be attributing too much to them, but I really think those blades of appollo did the trick. Getting life back without having to try to stop and snatch up one of those health's from the ground all while having to keep an eye on her and avoid her unblockable attacks was a HUGE relief for me...that squirrel was a big waste of a runic spot! [emoji23]

But everyone plays differently...So 🤷🏾*♂️

I didn't use blades of apollo. Last couple times I've beat her I used the ax alot. The switch strikes are pretty effective.

Got the Platinum! Third one ever for me. I did drop down to easy to beat the Queen. May try to beat the Queen on normal on an old save later but I just couldn’t do it.

New game plus confirmed, next update iirc. Game is also 49.99 in playstation store.

Maybe this will help? You can see I use the kid a lot, and I primarily used axe because my nos blades were only level 3. And end of video it shows what gear I used. I had resources from 6 of the calorie valkyrie before this challenge.

I would like to know more about the + mode and how soon we will get it. I’m ready to start over and I may not want to start with all my skills either.
