Here's a tip if anyone is still playing the game, it's currently not worth it to try and get the two extra shields. They only unlock for that save. I was hoping they would be available in new games after you unlock them.

Doesn't really matter since you can't really see the shields anyways.

Finally beat the game, but the real challenge came from Sigrun. I was playing on medium and i swear it took me like 2 days to find the right method.

Finally beat her when i started keeping her out the air and getting the timing right on her attacks.

Still didn't get the dash attack timing perfect, but was able to not get hit by it enough to last.

I was determined not to use a resurrection stone.

Don't know if I'll do another playthrough on a higher difficulty since there's not much reason. I also don't care to find every collectable, but i only missed a few.

I need to finish AC Origins and Uncharted 4 finally. I lost a lot of intrest in Origins like i did Unity even though Unity was a better game AC wise. I like the Origins setting and Byek, but the RPG elements and less stealth options start to turn me off.

In game. They unlock after spreading ashes in Jötunheim at the end of game in "give me god of war" difficulty.

I decided I'd try to 100% on GMGOW difficulty while waiting for new game plus.

This fight took like 2 hours.

I don't know if i'll be able to beat Sigrun.

Just bought for 35$ with the deal on the PS store and my oh my what a game! Graphics are jaw dropping and the game play is a bit different from previous GOW games but the change is welcomed. I can't wait to dive back in after work. This fall/winter is going to be bananas.

Played the game for the first time for about a hour. So far so good; only change I've made is mapping the attack buttons to the square and triangle instead of R1 and R2. I keep forgetting to recall the axe when I throw it. Took a few tries to beat the first monster but we got it done!

The earlier games all used square and triangle. I was going to remap it, but I got used to r1 and r2.

I don't even think about recalling axe anymore, it's second nature and you can do all kinds of fun stuff with recall.
