Did you try going to a stable to see if they "retrieved your horse" somehow?

Either way, good thing your horse reloaded somehow.

Seriously, I feel like moose are so rare, they should ALL be perfect skins. Since release day, I can count on one hand how many I’ve seen TOTAL. Been trying in a few different spots and I’ve managed to bag ONE. 😡

Went to the trapper and counted what I still needed for all the clothes.

I’m getting closer. There are a few animals I haven’t even seen yet, because I haven’t been on the Red Dead one map. It is definitely a CHORE.

Your horse following you on missions where you are aboard other modes of transportation is totally ridiculous, horrible oversight by Rockstar. They spend all this time and money crafting new heights of realism in this game, and such a poor design sticks out like a sore thumb, totally kills the immersion.

I know others have already responded but, seriously, this is a be careful what you wish for type thing.

The game would be unplayable for me if my horse didn't teleport to my destination and I don't have time to just ride around for hours on end.

I know others have already responded but, seriously, this is a be careful what you wish for type thing.

And at least they go as far as to show your horse following the carriage. The horse teleport mechanics have some depth and explanation to them in general, like how you have to go to a stable and get them to retrieve your horse for you.

been hanging out around the Aurora Basin? and they're rare, thats the reason the sell price is 7.50 for moose and bear, the panther is a great challenge too but only nets you 6.25.

I just now realized that my horse can swim.

I didn't know horses could do that in general. I assumed their weight distribution would make them topple to a side instead of remaining buoyant.

I just turned on my game and it went all the way back to an early chapter while still in the mountains. Every thing I did since then is gone. The save ports just show an auto save and another save file, both set to the mission to rescue John Marston from the side of the cliff. WTF.

That's why I have nine save points.

Are you on PS4? Do you have auto-upload to cloud enabled? If so, I would load up the most recently uploaded save file from there. I don't know if Xbox has that feature if you're on that.

Extra frustrating if you can't get that back though.

I just switched to XBox for this. I had two saves. I think it reverted back to the old save. I must have overwrote the auto save. Only thing I can think of to explain it. My preorders are gone, such as extra medicine and that stuff. Not much but a pain in the butt.

I don't know why it would boot up my non-auto save, though. I wasn't connected to the Internet at the time of this issue, but that still doesn't make sense to me. I'm not subscribed to the overpriced Live Gold, so no access to a cloud.
